There is somewhere some wires fed through iirc I can have a look in my stripped engine bay tomorrow if it helps

sweet..  i know on the mk4 chassis there is that lid that sits on to of some relays ect... hoping thats a easy way in.

It's still got all of the sound deadening on and the scuttle is covered, I'll get some better pics tomorrow but here it is

This is silver metalizer over black plasti-dip on the grill surround:

 i stayed late afterwork to put the smurf back together tonight...  i was not leaving till it was running...

 

didnt take as many pics as i wanted as i just wanted to get it done but you get the idea..

 

now the AC pipes in, i could go about putting the fast bits in..

 

 

had to change a couple of studs over and the oil feed union first tho, nothing to diffcult

left with a naked oil feed hole

 

this is so much easier to remove off the car!  my braided oil feed has a different fitment.

 

refit the hose adapter for the silicone hoses.

 

i got he braided line loosly on the turbo as i dropped it behind the engine, saves arsing around with gravity and the copper washers.

 

fitted my boost feed nipple into the allard pipe with PTFE tape.  Always make sure there is no PTFE tape loose that can get into your boost system too

 

swapped my brake fluid res cap with 1 off a merc as its black and goes better in my bay..

 

and we have the rough idea of how its going to look..   few more bits to finish yet but shes running

 

 

Tarox 6 pots feel epic as well and i only move it a foot forwards and a foot back as im boxed in by work cars. haha!

first drive into the garage today... nearly broke my neck as i forgot about the Tarox 6 pots and i was only doing 10mph tops!

 

 

changed my gearbox mount for a Vibratecnics one, car is very rattly on tick over but im sure it will dies down.  pull away on the paddle clutch is alot smoother now

 

 

removed the stickers on my battery too...  looked messy..    much cleaner now.

 

 

i wanted to take my washer bottle off to spray it to match the coolant but it was getting on my tits, and as i had more important things to do i passed on it..  i will soon colour match it.

relocated the little filter as i didnt like it popping out like a male dogs lipstick!  its not nicely tucked away.

Interesting to see how the darkside hardpipe kit fits.  Mine will be going in on 10th December.

only tip i can give you is bolt up the near side of the Intercooler leaving the offside un-done,  then fitting the top pipe is easier because you can move the IC outwards a couple inches . the map sensor gets stuck on the chassis under head light otherwise
