Have to say I hate the look of the site and the idea of putting a plug-in into my pooter worries me a tad. Thanks, but I'm a bit of a scared cat with site like these, so I'll hang on for another day. I know the result anyway as I couldn't wait to find out :D

Yup, it's even more annoying that really, it's **** all to do with Marquez, he should be riding his own race and letting everyone else crack on with theirs

  • Is it just me, or does anyone else chuckle every time Marc falls off trying to stick with Vale?

  • WOW!!! Absolutely amazing race, and a battle we've all waited to see for so long.   What a brilliant race and a fitting tribute to #39    Lovely to see Valentino and Marc shake hands at last.   I

You are right.

Never click on anything that offers you a media player upgrade on that sort of site.

You are right.

Never click on anything that offers you a media player upgrade on that sort of site.

If they identify it as "Upgrade to $MP $version", go to the maker's site and see if you can download that or later there! After this, return to the original site, and if they're still saying "upgrade" then they're scammers pure and simple.

Well here we are again ending another season, fly aways then Valencia in November.

I can't remember a better season in all three classes? The doctor,a favourite of mine for many years,at 36 is invigorated again and giving fast and smooth Lorenzo a hard time.

I get up ar stupid times to watch live, luckily retired that's not a problem.

Hope the title goes to the wire and really wanted to get to see it live, however waiting for a heart monitor to be fitted on November 5th.Reckon I will bloody need it for the season closing race!!!

Moto GP is brilliant.

Set your alarm for 0600 start 18 October.

Hopefully 46 will have it sorted before your surgery.

Many thanks guys, didn't find the thread, must try harder!!

Many thanks guys, didn't find the thread, must try harder!!

Should have said" didn't find the thread before" doh.

Just watched the race. Quite exciting really:) The Doctor is the complete package :) Surely if he wins the Championship he will be consider the GOAT or at the very least the OOTGTOAT (one of the greatest two....  that doesn't work so well now I see it in print :D )

No he IS the GOAT already Amanda.  There have been many greats Ago, Hailwood, Roberts and Spencer and they all have achieved fantastic results but I don't think any of them have won races and championships in so many different classes. Moto GP has had different engine sizes and formats over the years and Rossi has been dominant at some point in all of them against many different opponents who have also been World Champions.

I sincerely hope he wins this year as he deserves it for his shear grit and determination that has brought him back from the dark days of Ducati.

That sums up my opinion also. Agostini didn't have the likes of Lorenzo and Marquez to contend with. Sadly i think we were robbed of an epic tussle between Simoncelli and rossi for a few titles at least. Simo was really coming into contention before his tragic crash and the fact that it was Rossi who ran over his head, one of his friends and compatriots shows how focused Rossi is that it never fazed him and didn't diminish his speed and aggression. Normally with multiple winners of the likes of Schumacher and Vettel i usually want the underdog to win and get bored. However, conversely I really hope Rossi does win and continue for many years although i think he will retire to concentrate on VR46 after this season if he wins.

Strange, this afternoon I was listening to Siamo Solo Noi, allegedly SuperSic's favorite song,

Simoncelli was getter faster, safer and a threat to others.  I actually didn't see his riding any different to Marquez who has in my opinion been just (if not more) dangerous yet nothing was said about him.  Marquez is good of that there is no doubt.  He wouldn't be a double Moto GP Champion if he wasn't but is hows he did have a bike that he could cope with.

Rossi showed again on Sunday that he can still ride when his tyres are shot and he is a master tactician.  I don't believe when the likes of Ago and co were riding that they had either equals or that others had bikes as good.  No Rossi is the GOAT.

I always thought that Agostini was afforded a similar amount of respect to Rossi, so I thought I would play safe :D

I realise numbers don't tell the whole story, Vettle and Hamilton eclipsing Senna's totals but neither of them is quite in the same category, springs to mind. It's funny how people often forget Schumacher though. Sorry to mention the 4 wheelers, it's just I know them better

Ago was on a bike that won the riders title 18 times in 19 years.

There was no really effective opposition for 2 decades.

Even Honda have never dominated like MV.

Not wishing to take anything at all away from the heroes of yesteryear, but Rossi has won 500, 990, and 800 titles in a really competitive era.

If you have not already watched today's race from Australia, then make sure you do.

A real rip snorter!

Its once again awesome and what a head butt by Andrea Iannone.

A day full of surprises and shocks..............not the least for one seagull!!

Haven't got time to watch a replay so I checked the result.  Sounds like I should watch it anyway :)

Just about to watch it (recorded on BT sport) but I know the result. Good job Kent did so well at the start of the season because he's doing his best to try and do the impossible and throw the title away.  :peek:

Seagull soup tonight in Oz!!

What a day,up at 03.00,unbelievable days racing, lots of bad luck for some.

Camelspyder, you MUST watch it,best race for years( in my opinion) F1 sucks in comparison, again just my opinion.

Another early start next weekend, can't wait, what a climax to the season.

I would have watched live but did a 12 hour shift today, so no chance. I'll record it off itv4 later in the week.

Tough luck having to work 12 hrs, especially on a Sunday.Sure you will enjoy it when you get time to watch it,aint relaxing watching though, edge of the seat job.

I recorded it but I was up at 6 to watch it.  Have to say I did think that Kent would come a cropper as they are like Axe murderers!  Pressure will be mounting on him now and it just goes to show until the Fat Lady sings it ain't over!

Oh my god just watched this race now at last! Avoided this thread and results posted elsewhere. A perfect demonstrator of why MotoGP is infinitely better than F1!

As much as I want Valentino to win, I can't see it happening. I hope I'm wrong!
