Wow. Your way ahead of me. I thought it was just my,car a lemon.

6 trips so far.

Jobs to date:

Bonnet sprayed

Front doors sprayed

Tailgate sprayed

Front and rear bumpers sprayed

Power tailgate struts replaced

2 centre airvents replaced

Door creaking

Wow not good!

Why all the painting Octavian?

Car spent 99 days with dealer in first 1.5 years, mainly stop start errors but also headlight issue and indicator that did not self correct!

6 months 3 visits to dealer

I've lost count.. But a lot!

Issues with headlights, battery drain, start stop, bolero software, lock module failure, lock controller failure, abs module failure, airbag communication issues...

Think that's all the problems!

Why all the painting Octavian?

Poor quality factory paintjob. Needed a lot of remedial work. I pity the poor bugger who has this car after me when the warranty has expired.

Once in 22 months for rattling boot struts.

Not even once after 8 month of ownership.  I guess the workers had a good day when mine was built.

Only once since February of this year. They sold it to me with a cracked tail light (hail damage) which was supposed to have been replaced before i picked it up. No other issues so far.

Only once in 18 months ownership for a service.

This is one league table I don't want to be the top of.

Once in 7 months and just for replacing the windscreen, scratched by a projection, after being irresponsible overtaken by a driver without any clear idea about safe following distance.

No problem at all after 10,000 km of happy ownership.

I have to say I am fleet manager and mine is the only one out of all the Octy's we have that has caused any trouble.

Only the once in 26 months/40k miles - airbag warning light.

1x headlight fault, 2x services and 1x boost sensor. 17 months / 25k miles.

Although I do have a rattle from the back but I'll wait until the next service for that one.

1 visit for a service + annoying creaking noise from front. 15 months/23k miles. Dealer couldn't replicate noise which I eventually traced, (and fixed), myself to lack of lubrication on the contact points of the front brake pads. No other issues whatsoever, best car I've ever had

vRS Mk 2 none (36000 miles)

VRS Mk 2 FL once - ignition coil failure (38000 miles)

VRS Mk 2 FL none (18000 miles)

VRS Mk 3 none so far 24000 miles!!

i've got a 4 hour drive to get to the nearest dealer... now you guys got me scared

sure hope my build get some love at the factory...

5 months and zero problems.

Only the front passenger door sometimes hard to open with external handle. Fixed at first service, oh, and the hinged joint on the variable level floor wasn't sitting LEVEL!
