How did you get them out? I have been looking at them and trying to remove them for a LED upgrade but I have so far failed.

you have to prise the 'plastic' out of the 'metal surround' start with flat head screw driver. It all just come out at once and you have to pull really hard but carefully

There are 2 plastic bits clipped together so it might come out in 2 pieces.

That’s one mod I have been thinking of doing is removing the bulbs from the lights above the rear doors, my wee lad is forever turning it on!

That’s reassuring! I think I’ll go with them when my current policy ends. Thanks for that @Pumbajunior :)

It is just an actuarial risk - I suppose they don't know you from Adam. Saying that the more variables they remove from their portfolio the easier it is to manage.

I do not think that Adrian Flux would be considered a 'dodgy company'. Or was that just tongue in cheek?

Flux direct is Adrian Flux insurance (ex racing driver) modified car insurance specialist

They sponsor the BMR Subaru BTCC team of last years champion (Ash Sutton) and Jason Plato

Ex wife had a modded Abarth 500 insured through them, pretty much could mod what you wanted as long as you informed them all for same premium (apart from major things like dropping in a V8 or something)

Has Dan@AdrianFlux not already been along telling you just get in touch?

The history of Adrian Flux is lovely, maybe Dan can explain why once someone has taken their modified insurance with them on renewal they try taking the pith.

That is if you can get Modified insurance with them from Call handlers that are clueless sometimes, or when a Comparison Site links to them they then are not interested in getting your custom.

Hello everyone , I'm new here ! :)

So, I'm a IT student in Italy, and as a true first car (bought brand new, after almost 2 years with a used c3 after getting the driving license), I choosed a Fabia MK3, the twin color model black&white, and my family is helping me to pay it, 'couse i study during the day and work as a pizza delivery guy 3/4 times a week, so i do not have lots of money to spend.

It's a 1.4 tdi, and since I really like to drive (done some rally courses too), i'd like to upgrade it a bit...

Remap and exhaust would be the first mods to do but i prefer to wait for the warranty to expire, so I'm thinking to lower it but I can't afford a 800 euro coilovers set so.. any ideas ? Can someone link me maybe some lowering springs that fit the car and are not too expensive?

Thanks !

got this one at the weekend delivered, it was supposed to go in the MK3 ,the wife was impressed set to blue but she couldnt guarantee me she would remember to unplug from the 12v! so its now fitted in my car MK2, the receiver box is a bit of a hassle finding location for it, trying velcro for receiver box so yours is probably neater fit.
