Hi All,

Just joined as placed an order recently for a SE L 1.5 DSG, awaiting for the dealer to confirm, but hoping to take over an order they had for a Karoq with the same engine and just add our options on top.

Looking at the picture people are posting, i'd like to pick up the car now!

Hiya! Great choice!

I've just taken delivery of mine in the same spec + a few extras. I absolutely love it, totally worth the wait but hopefully, you'll get it sooner.

In Grimsby now just waiting for a hitch to the dealer! If I was to put a bet on I would say we would be picking it up on 24th November which would be 3 months from when it was ordered.

Not long now till D-Day!! 24th November sounds about right for it to be delivered to the dealer then to undergo it’s PDI and be ready for handover to it’s proud new owners!

Would appear I have unconfirmed build for week 48.

When would you expect this to be confirmed

Hi , im also new here as well and i have just placed an order for a SEL 1.5 DSG to replace the family hack.

Happy to accept the basic blue colour with no options , or the dealer will let me know if there is one with a few choice options on it. Ideally with the ISOFix Front Passenger Seat Prep & Family Pack.

Asked the dealer that we want to take the car as soon as possible.

Hope i have made a good choice as it will be our 1st Skoda (currently have 2 x VW Golfs)

Mine was unconfirmed pretty much until like 2 weeks before going into production.

Thanks, I'll check back with them during week 48. Quite lucky to be able to take the dealers slot. Hopefully will be early January.

Mine was confirmed the week beforehand last week being built this week 46

Thanks Jim69,

Couldnt find a petrol dsg to test drive, so tried a Kodiaq TDI DSG, both lovely cars. Plus noticed today Skoda have put their prices up slightly.

I noticed the price hike as well . Lucky I got a quote and the order form before the price increase , works out about £300 more if I have asked for a quote today.

Skoda Customer Care called today.

They said it is in transit to Grimsby on a vessel named "City of Rotterdam".

I have just checked and it docked at Grimsby 18:00hrs this evening.

Wooooooo!

Skoda Customer Care called again today, our car was loaded onto the transporter at 10:00am this morning.

They are estimating it will be at the dealer (Blade Skoda Gloucester) tomorrow at some point.

The dealer had sent across the "confirmation of registration details" form to be signed and returned.

Do you think they will have enough time to PDI it ready for collection this weekend?

So excited now.

Mine arrived at the dealers on a Thursday and it was ready the following Sunday so it's possible. Depends on the dealer I guess.

Hi how do you get such detail on the progress of your car delivery? For weeks all I can get is “on its way to Emden.” Any  tips gratefully received!

Go on to the uk Skoda web page and use the live chat to talk to one of the customer advisors you will need ure order number from your dealer

Get your order number from the dealership and then go on Skoda UK Live Chat and they should be able to give you an up to date situation on where your car is.

Skoda Live Chat (https://www.skoda.co.uk/about-us/contact-us - pops up in the bottom right); just ask for an update and give them the order number and they'll let you know. Not sure if their info is delayed or real-time though.

I think they have a slight delay maybe a day or two. As I was told my car was on a ship to uk, however ship was back in Emden as it had dropped the car off before returning back to Emden. It appears cars coming over now are from orders in August if you took dealers slot.

Email from dealer, expecting mine first week of December so will have been a 4 month wait if that happens.

Thanks everyone. Contacted Live Chat but all they could say was that it was still on its way to Emden. Very frustrating.myorder was mid July.

Hey guys, first time posting after long time watching

My Karoq just arrived in dealers' place, but it feels a bit weird, because the confirmed building week was 42.

So it seems it arrived very quickly, I'm taking it tomorrow!

Today went to have a look and only one moment dissapointed me a little. The summer tyres are the Hankooks while the new Kodiaks and Octavias had Continental, somehow it looks unfair.

I would not worry about that. My previous lease car came with Hankooks (Seat Leon ST) on and they were great. The Continentals that replaced them were noisier and no improvement over the Hankooks I found.

That does seem strange as I have the same model and mine came with Michelin  Supremacy 3 tyres.

Mine is the same with Mytikas alloys though. It came around the same time as Skodaqs, probably from the same 'batch', must just be what they can get in stock at the time. Still odd though.

Did you have any extras?

Mine was 5 and a half. Ordered on the 2nd of June, got it last Saturday.

I wonder if the difference in tyre could just be down to which factory it was built in. Anyway of identifying that?
