Ordered at same time and same model with some extras and also been notified by company car broker to expect delivery mid April. Looks like they are doing a run on SE techs finally

That seems like a long wait, I can't imagine Skoda make one type at a time?

Hi Berisford, from what I can gather some buyers are luckier than others. However the buyers that receive their Karoq's early, may, in the main be taking them from stock, cancellations etc.  I have not been offered any of these.  As I stated in an earlier post I ordered mine, 1.5 TSI SE L, Moon White (no extra spec) at the end of Sept 2018 (19 wks ago)

I am resigned to expect delivery between 22 and 25 wks, which seems to be the norm.

I can't imagine that Skoda do make one type at a time, as all are basically the same. However if you read other posts on this forum, people have waited a year for different marques within the VW group! I sincerely hope we are not one of those!  Am not too bothered at March delivery, due to still having my current car until handover.

Mines was an actual factory build SEL 1.5l DSG in Energy Blue no added spec , (yup i got the build SLI etc etc) , took approx 8-9 weeks from order to it being delivered to my doorstep.

I ordered it the day before they upped the prices in November 2018 , i think it was  the 13th , and driving the thing on the 21st January. So waiting 20 weeks plus is a bit much.

It has to be a type thing. I have read some who have ordered after me but already have a car. The SE tech is a different spec aimed at business, has included extras not standard on the normal builds.

It is what it is, I have less avenue to complain as its a company car. With about 3 different parties in the chain I don't even have an order number I can chase up with skoda.

It is a lottery and seems to depend on the dealers,  ordered 1.6 SEL yesterday and was quoted 26 week build time. However, the dealer had some stock cars in the system, they have converted one of these to the spec we wanted, Business Grey and the only extra being a Heated Front Screen, result should be with us by the end of March :)

Hi to everybody on this forum who I have been chatting to about Karoq delivery times over the past few days . I had some excellent news this lunchtime (Fri 08/02) My dealership contacted me and my 1.5 TSI SE L, Moon White will be ready for collection next Friday (15/02). !!!! It will have taken 20 weeks from order to delivery, the weeks seem to have flown by. However I suspect that the next seven days are going to be very long!

After chatting to my sales exec, he seems to be of the opinion that Skoda are now full steam ahead on production, so you guys who have ordered recently will have less of a wait (Hopefully!) than I did. Those who have received your Karoqs earlier are, according to my dealership, very lucky as just up until recently Skoda have been quoting at a 20 - 25 week lead in time.. I will post the obligatory  pic as soon as is poss when I get my shiny new Toy!!

OK. Finally got an 'approximate' delivery date for my 1.5 Karoq Style (Lava Blue the only extra!)....from order date (5th November 2018). First promise was Mid Feb 2019 which I was happy with. Went in to dealer a week ago - still nothing showing on build dates for ANY 1.5 Style for ROI. Ambition, no problem, 1.0 style, easy! As you can understand, I was not happy with this news. To be fair to the salesman (who I have dealt with for years), he was embarrassed & said he would not be surprised if I went elsewhere (Peugeot 2008 - 2 week wait). He had the decency to promise to honour the price offered on my Octavia - even if I went & bought any car anywhere else. Finally got an email for build week 12.... in real terms for us here means 6-8 weeks to receipt, so I am talking mid-May for delivery.....hmmmm & 'ouch'

Hi HoopsIRL, as you can see from my posts it has taken 20 weeks from 25 Sept 2018 order  to delivery, this coming Friday, 15 Feb for my 1.5 TSI SE L  Moon White. If you are being offered  Nov - May then that appears par for course for   Karoqs of a 22 - 25 weeks lead in time.  The salesman up here in the darkest depths of NI told me that Skoda have finally got their act together on production and delivery dates are coming down, so hopefully  yours will too.

As long as you've got your Octavia, until you get your Karoq, (Can you really imagine a 2008 in your driveway?)  then I think you have made by far the right decision.  The only 'ouch' bit will be when the dealership empties your bank account of your hard earned on hand over!

Ordered my Karoq SE L 1.5 DSG Quartz Grey with Heated Windscreen 31st December 18, was given a delivery estimate of end of March. Middle of Jan, that estimate changed to end of May as production wouldn't start until mid April. Was in touch again today and build week has come forward to w/c 18th Feb, delivery March, so if that stays like that, all good!

Hi all, long time no post!

Been a roller coaster of both excitement and disappointment reading all this, I hope everyone will get their new Karoq sooner than later.

We ordered a Karoq Style 1.5 TSI with lots of extras in Quartz Grey the 23rd of November, dealer said roughly 3 months for delivery. I was informed I had confirmed build week 6, and that I should expect delivery the last week of February/first week of March. The wait feels like its been forever, but obviously nothing compared to what others here have had to wait for theirs.

Completely fell in love with the car after the test drive, and the need for a car has become greater since we had our daughter early this year. Can't wait!

Fingers crossed everything stays on track and that I have good news to share soon! ;)

Glitchbeat - I wish you every luck with your Karoq delivery :)  & may it be all that you wish o/. We are on the periphery of Europe & use RH drive, so that is also a factor for us. Just ENJOY when it arrives, as will we all :)

I ordered my Karoq SE 1.5TSI MG with a few factory fitted extras around the 9th November 2018 week 45 and got a build date of week 50, the car was built during wk 50 and arrived at the dealership around week 3 2019, I collected it towards end of January.

What spec. is an MG?

Manual Gearbox?  Just guessing ...

Hi Glitchbeat, WOW what a great double! Hope you enjoy the Karoq as much as your new daughter.

Correct.

OK - that's a new one on me. Most folks just state "manual".

My Karoq has been returned after 2 months away at the garage following the car accident. Loving it!

Hi @Lustral, May I ask how you are getting on with the 1.5Tsi and DSG combination? Any kangerooing or flat spots that seem prevalent with the manual?

@Kodiaqman Seems to be fine so far when I get to drive it. Only 450 miles in though. Seems to pull nicely through the gears when making progress. The 1st and 2nd gears seem to hold on a bit too much for my likely when making a quicker getaway from junctions or from roundabouts.
