Yea I nagged him for it musta mentioned it at least 9 times lol

i will be fair though - i've bought 3 skodas this year (1 written off) and they were the only dealer locally who gave me anything!  Belfast and lurgan both only gave me enough fuel to just get home!

petrol blue SEL diesel - its grand.  I much prefer my 1.0 TSI fabia but its not much use as a family car!  Thankfully we've still got both and i can use the fabia during the week and the karoq will be used at the weekend if we all head out as a family. 

Getting mine Thursday at last.

Just off Skoda live chat there and mine is in the uk port so hopefully not too long now before I receive it

Had to ask my salesman where it was  and he had to go back into the showroom to get one for me!

Picked it up at last yesterday. Very very impressed so far. Only thing I was surprised by was bonnet release on passengers side.

No way should a Dealership have the the Advance Payment for a Motability vehicle you are going to lease once Motability buy it.

 

The Advance Payment is guaranteed at the time of ordering so in that Quarter and can be less when delivered but not higher, 

and Motability agree the contract and no Advance Payment should be made until the hand over after the inspection and when you are putting in the PIN for Motability to pay for the car, and you pay the Advance Payment and any Extras you arranged / ordered. 

 

Rang my dealer yesterday to be told my Karoq 1,6 diesel SEL is in the English Channel should land in Grimsby  in the next few days I should have the car before Christmas. Hoping it comes with a bow on it.

I had to re-read it.....

Finally got a call from the dealer to say the car was being delivered yesterday (Saturday) they will check it on Monday and I can collect it on Tuesday has been a long slow journey  but 21 weeks later I should finally have my car 

I will finally get my vehicle on Wednesday after nine months! (Slovenia)

Sad news for my Karoq. I was involved in a crash (someone drove into me deliberately drunk-driver, troubled man) on Friday. Paramedics did a mini bumper repair on the car with some sticking plaster so we could get it on the drive at home.   I am bruised but no cuts or broken bones. We’ve only had the car a month. (Picture below taken the day after)

Ouch! I feel for you and hope that it is soon repaired and looking like new again. I also hope that the other driver gets a ban, points on his licence and a fine!

That’s a long wait don’t think I would’ve been prepared to wait that long was giving my dealer another 2 weeks and was going to cancel
