Great, thanks.

Mine currently showing 10th April on the portal so hoping it may appear soon. Colleagues experience cars just turning up from zenith well before given dates so I don't know how much dealers keep them up to date.

Enjoy your car!

do you have a link to the zenith portal?

Hi

Just Https://myaccount.zenith.co.uk

Your company should send you login details to allow you to order your car

I'm not so sure dealers even know what's happening with deliveries, allegedly, mine turned up Monday this week without any notice, despite not scheduled for build until week 9....either way, subject to inspection next Tuesday, I'm happy that it's here early.

Evening all,

Just a quick post as I have been a bit of a lurker on the forum for the last 3 months.

I order a Karoq through my company car scheme back in December and the 'Button' was finally pressed by the dealer on the 14/12/18. Had an email today advising car now in stock and ready for deliver from the 8th March on wards.

So that is 12 weeks from ordering to delivery which i am happy with as was initially given 26 weeks.

If it helps anyone I'm based in the South of England and my company car scheme is run through Zenith and there preferred Skoda dealer is up north somewhere.

Car ordered

1.5 petrol SEL DSG in petrol blue with some extras.

Heated Screen

Adaptive Cruise Control

Auto Light Assist

Virtual Cockpit

Electrically Operated Boot

Family Pack

Now cant wait for my new toy to arrive.......Hoping for a few cold days after delivery to try out the heated screen.

Hi there I am in the southeast I ordered mine in January and delivery is due this month as well, production started 7 Feb dealers said taking about 3 weeks to build and then delivery time

So it arrived yesterday..........Mainly happy but after the delivery agent had gone discovered that the Sat Nav SD card was missing :@. Now the challenge to get someone to take responsibility and just post me one out!

Driven it around 100 miles so far and had the 'lack of drive' at a junction happen twice ........hope that is just a 'learn how it drives issue' and not an actual issue!

@mc6701

Best put in writing ASAP to the Dealership & Skoda UK the 'lack of drive' issue because really that is not 'how they should roll' and not a desirable characteristic.

it is a 'Blemish' or unsightly birth mark. and also known as a 'Fail' or a VW Group ba-lls up.

So ordered mid October 18, advised delivery late May 19, can take delivery from next Friday 22nd March. Karoq SE tech with some extras. All round happy with that in the end.

took delivery today,1.6 tdi sel dsg,car has been at dealers for a month so i could have had it earlier if i wanted.very pleased with how the process has been done.service was excellent from dealership, just done 100 miles to see how it drives & i am well pleased, relaxing auto box & the heated seats are much more effective than i expected.

  • 2 weeks later...

Update - provisionally given a build date of week 15 - W/C 8th April - so hopefully will take delivery within 3 or 4 weeks which will be around 15 weeks after ordering 7 to 11 weeks earlier than quoted so v happy

Our Karoq was built last week in Feb, and arrived in Grimsby Port on 5th March....but its still there. Apparently so many cars are there it's taking ages to get transporters to move all of them to dealership. Due a phone call tomorrow to chase up.

My Karoq was built second week of February, have been told for the last four weeks that it is at Emden awaiting shipping, initially the delay was because they were apparently trying to build as many as possible for the UK market before Brexit day and worrying about transport later, now the reason for the delay is that a number of ferries were cancelled last week because of the stormy weather, which is probably true to a degree. There are supposedly 4 ferries due to leave Emden in the next week so hopefully mine will be on one of these, but will probably have the problem with the lack of transporters when it does get to UK. Still being quoted the standard ‘estimated delivery in 3 - 4 weeks’, I’ve heard that quite a few times now!

Just wondering what people's delivery times were like from build week -> dealer? Mine's being built this week (BW7), presumably only takes a day or two to finish? Then the journey to the dealer via Emden takes a few weeks?

Mine arrived in Grimsby a week ago. Still not booked into Dealers

Mines been in Grimsby for 3 weeks now, still no word on an ETA

I have a post over on the superb part of the forum. My Superb has been at Emden for over 5 weeks now. I was told the same about Brexit and also bad weather. There are a number of ships coming over this week which I’m hoping it’s on. Even if it is I expect another delay when it gets to Sheerness. Once it finally gets to the dealer I’m guessing it’s going to be around 8 weeks for shipping alone. I think these are the times you are looking at at the moment if waiting for a car just now.

Hi

Was at the dealer getting the wife's Citigo Serviced

They had a Karoq Edition in the showroom in blue - discount + deposit allowance + 2 free services - but it was manual.

I asked about an Automatic - he checked his stock - 1 available - but in Business Grey.

So ordered Saturday - delivery Thursday.

Car 2.0 TDI Edition 4 x 4 DSG...

Would have added the ACC and Heated screen.... but happy to take the 3K discount and 2K deposit allowance and free servicing instead...

Will be sad to see the Citigo Go.. but with Grandchildren - was not really big enough for the seats and pushchairs...

I would add - he had a huge list of stock cars... or cars on the way that were for stock.

Picking mine up tomorrow ordered Jan karoq 1.5 tsi dsg sportline in white

When we do eventually get our cars from Grimsby have a thorough look at the paint work. What with all that seagull **** on them.

FINALLY!!!! - It happened very quickly: an email on 1st April saying 'not April's fools...' Car here on Wednesday 3rd - pick it up tomorrow - looking forward to this :D

I had a call yesterday from my lease company to tell me the car was now in stock and to arrange a delivery date which I have for April 9th.

I'm excited but since mine is a 1.5 manual I'm also dreading it having the engine problems.

I also received a call yesterday, picking my SE L 1.5 DSG up on Friday afternoon, can't wait! I know the manual has most of the problems but hoping mine doesn't have the DSG no acceleration response problems that some people have reported!

I picked mine up last week and haven't any DSG problems, in fact, it is very responsive for a 1.5 engine, I guess some people are a bit too picky of every little thing in a car

It also doesn't help that we hear much more negative reports as opposed to positive ones when I'm sure there are loads of Happy customers with the 1.5 engine of both manual and DSG

A call from the dealer last week with a build date scheduled for next week, delivery expected 3 - 4 weeks from build. Ordered just over a month ago with a few factory fit extras.

@granty09

How many are you hearing or reading, a few dozen if even that here, and then others elsewhere.

There are thousands, lots of thousands of 1.5TSI in VW Group models and people not on forums saying much.

So Positives might just not appear, or more negatives are not.

My point is exactly that, I'm sure there are loads with positive experiences, you just don't hear from those people as much, as people with a complaint tend to make more noise. I never said that there aren't any happy customers
