Hi all, greetings from Singapore.

Just a month into my ownership of a steel grey RS245. Previously on a 1.4 Octavia. Hoping to get new tips from everyone here.

Cheers

I think you need more Vrs stickers.

Yesterday I fitted the 034 dogbone mount, and boy what a difference it makes. It took all of 5 minutes to fit and the most difficult part was trying to find the 21mm socket. It  eliminates the dreaded axle tramp for the trade-off of a bit more vibration from the engine.

Where did you get the arm rest tray insert from pls?

Which one did you go for ?

Just how much more engine vibration

Some good mods above. Gas struts, lights. Stickers though? Sometimes less is more.

Which mount did you use? Do you have a link?

Normal T10 LED bulbs meant for reading lights which I have a bag leftover from the previous ride. Also bought fron Aliexpress iirc. Better to get those that specifically beam down for footwell, like the superskoda ones for boot.

My footwell lights look like sealed units. Did you pry open the metal housing to change bulbs?

Also can you still adjust brightness?

Yes, I still had to pry carefully to remove the aluminiun housing.

I'm still able to adjust brightness.

Added bonnet insulator.

Does it come standard in UK or other parts of the world?

Hi Badlammy,

Welcome!

I have that owning any car in Singapore is expensive (compared to the the UK), is that the case?

Hi Marty, to answer your question, a RS245 costs about £71000 now in Singapore.

Trying to source one of these for mine. Looks alot more tidy. It's penny pinching by Skoda to not include one. I don't even have a full battery cover.
