The story of the haircut 

 

Blessed are those that can give without remembering and take without forgetting.....................

 

One day a florist in Ottawa went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week' The florist was pleased and left the shop.

 

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

 

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replies, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop.

 

The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen Tim Horton donuts waiting for him at his door.

 

Then an MP came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The MP was very happy and left the shop.

 

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen MP's lined up waiting for a free haircut.

 

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

Well to the best of my knowledge, I thought the 'Dingaling song' was in fact about a 'dingaling', it was just Chuck Berry getting around the censors and being a bit naughty   I don't think the original was meant to be cheeky, but Mr Berry captured the moment with his sly rendition of it

I used to drive 55 miles each way to a job down single carrigeway roads. I reckoned if I didn't get flashed or honked at at least once each journey I wasn't trying hard enough.

I suspect   am pretty certain that it's complete fiction. It implies she was using petrol previously and where the heck would she plug the nozzle in, even then, it assumes she didn't notice the fuel pouring out all over the car and the floor.  Most likely written by a man with a certain view on women imho

a prius has a petrol engine... (ill delete this of you want to change your comment)

 

but, equally yeah its unlikely but plausible. many people* have accidentally misfuelled, and im sure theres a few of those who didnt realise until their engines imploded that makes a difference.
