Hi @pab567, please could you advise whether there is an update for my 2013 Octavia 3 VRS infotainment unit?

 

I've had the generic "Fault : Vehicle Lighting" error on the display for several months which a few people seem to have reported. Checked and reseated all bulbs. Nothing showing on my OBD but don't know anyone with VCDS. Have seen a few suggestions on here that updating the infotainment might be worth a try?

 

@Superlolli you are already on the latest firmware. ALl others pls check your PMs.

I hope someone can help. I bought a 2015 Octavia last week and the original maps are still installed. I'd really like to update to the latest. I have downloaded them from the Skoda portal and installed them on a new SD card. However, I get an error message "Please insert a data medium with valid navigation data". I also went to MIB helper and downloaded from there with the same result. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thank you

Have you used the proper SD card? - Amundsen MIB2 will only accept Skoda/VAG SD card.

Recently I bought Škoda Octavia (2017 year). First of all, I want to tell you that I don't have experience at all with updating firmware of car console (software).

I can see that mr. @pab567 is a true legend here :) and I would really appreciate if you could help me with this problem.

I am attaching you the pictures of my version of software that is installed right now in my car. I hope you will get along with the language, I think that the versions are what you need to see.

Looking for an update for my Infotainment.

I did request one around 1 year ago and was kindly provided a file by Pab567.

I downloaded it onto an old computer and totally forgot about it. I've went back into my messages and downloaded it to try and put it onto an SD Card(formatted to FAT32). But gives file errors when I'm trying to transfer the files.

I've even tried unzipping direct to the SD and still gives the same errors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The file I'm trying to copy over is called MST2_EU_SE_ZR_P0368T

Thank you @Warrior193 I hadn't realised there was a difference. I thought I could just use a freshly formatted card. All sorted now.

Hello the update you try to copy si for Seat "SE" you need 369 SK is for škoda. I can send you link.

My unit is:

Partnumber: 5L0035680D

SW Train: MST2_EU_SK_PQ_E0368T

As I read this 0:00 clock bug should be fixed in Version 478 (and later).
