Thank you, @pab567 update went perfectly fine from a SD Card. For some reason the USB stick threw an Error 15.

@pab567 which screen model number is the same as the one I already have (pictured)? The only thing I would like to change looks / functionality wise would be if there was an APP (Android Auto) button. It's irritating having to go to the menu every time to then select Android Auto.

 

Just realised, as I got here via Google, that I am in the Octavia section. Will the update I have be okay for the Yeti @pab567? Sorry if I've wasted your time.

 

Skoda has NEVER launched any unit with APP button as they were manufactured by Technisat for MY18 and Yeti has NEVER manufactured in MY18 version. If you want to have it then only solution is to get W or SEAT unit with SW 04xx and rework it with Skoda MQB HMI as in the picture below. But is it really worth to spend few hundred of punds just to have it?

Hi! On my Sportline Superb 2018 I have Smartlink active with only 2 options Mirror Link and Android Auto.

As I'm trying to use my IOS devices still trying to intall carplay to my Amundsen system.

 

My SW Train version is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0456T

COde 5Q0035840C

Software: H29.204.38_STD2Plus_EU

 

Is there any update available?

Or how can I add Carplay?

Does anyone know if there's any firmware update that would improve the connectivity with a Samsung Galaxy S20+ or stop the infotainment system from going blank/freezing.

maybe there is but it would definitely help if you let us know exact model number and current SW version of your infotainment unit...
