Gti brakes going on,

I ended up buying a brand new hub/knuckle for n/s as I wasn’t very confident in it due to the smack the donor had had on that side, better safe then sorry.

Discs are arriving tomorrow

Those mounts are ridiculously fragile, that's what snapped on my Citigo when I smacked into a deer 😂

Also did a little mod with the rear springs as it’s always sat a tad higher then front.

it’s not a lot but thinner top rubbers off a mk5 golf that are 4/5mm thinner then oem ones, so should get a very subtle extra drop without altering the ride

Those spring rubbers look the same as those found on fabias, certainly look the same as the ones on my monte.

They seem pretty cheap on ebay, might pick up a pair.

They are probably shared on a lot of vag cars, I think mine were barely £10 posted cheap mod

Fire a Fantasy Green Fabia on lifted suspension, kit it out "one life, live it" style. I'll buy it for off-roading up here in a year or two's time. :D

Has a bit of interest in the car but I’m honestly not mega bothered about selling, I’ll keep it up in the background for sale on here but for now I’m happy to keep it :)

I finally found an airbag for a facelift up tsi wheel I’ve had for quite some time, I can now flick between the various mfd function and get the digital speedo :)

I’m still here :) she’s been racking up the miles taking me too and from work I use it every day near enough.

A few little jobs today as the weather was mild.

A result of fitting the Gti loom was that the wing indicators became redundant as I gained the mirror indicators. So I wired them back in as I don’t think you can have too many indicators 😂, and fitted some fresh lenses as my old ones were cloudy.

Also fitted some newer wiper arms as my coating had gone where the blade sits and I could see it everytime I drove her.

and my last little job was fitting a non broken connector on my coolant tank as the old one was snapped.

The Audi gear knob is a nice touch. Needs the sporty metal pedals too I would say just to round off the interior.
