  • I had so many spontaneous reboots this week with even 4 occurring on the same day that the infotainment system was practically unusable. That’s why I decided to go ahead and install 1941 yesterday.

Sure thing, and it might be an OTA, but might be 10 month's away

Hi all. After best part of 2 years with just minor irritating glitches compared to others on here, the dreaded ota update has caused the info restarting randomly, which then results in the car not overtaking cars on the left (works properly if no info restart 🤔).

Varoom could you please send me the link, thank you kindly 🤞

Hello,
I'm struggling with a very strange issue in my Octavia. It's 2021 RS model, with Canton. Sometimes audio just stops playing and when I touch volume control (up/down) it starts playing again but the side speakers don't work anymore, just the front one. After MIB reboot everything goes back to normal. I had this issue on 18xx software and now it's still happening on 1941. Does anyone experience similar issues or know how to solve this?

FAT32 is usually up to 32GB (iirc) exFAT above this, you can definitely use exFAT on larger USB sticks

Updating as I type this

Received the PM, thank you!

Hello. My car is at 1898 and it had just sporadic restarts over the 9 months it's been with me. After last OTA update it started to experience random restarts.

@varooom, can I also have the link to download the 1941 update? Thanks!

Yes will send this along for you

1941 update completed and working well so far. Thanks varooom

Looks like this sw is savior, no one complaining for now🙂

After living with 1941 for about a week. Came here from 1896. Had no big problems, apart from Canton settings getting reset and random restarts on startup. Now all the bugs are gone. Whole system feels faster, everything boots quicker. Reverse camera is instant now. Apple carplay seems to boot up quicker and it seems gps reception is better (before that got weak signal when using waze etc.) so i dunno if this is the software or just coincidence. But for now I’m very happy with it.

Hello varooom, after reading all these positive posts about the successful updates, would it be possible to have the link for me too? I’m currently on 1898. Thanks
