I am new here and have no idea where to post this but…. I need help, I’ve just got a Superb 2021 L&K and the image on the virtual cockpit shows the wrong doors open, I.e drivers door UK should be right image of car but it’s the passenger door showing as open and visa versa. Is there a way to change this via OBDEleven as it seems to be showing the car as non UK. Sorry if the post is in the wrong section!

Would anyone based near Evesham/ Cheltenham who has knowledge and OBD11 be willing to turn on the traffic sign recognition on my 2021 superb? I have the lane keeping and the correct camera but think someone just never clicked the option for traffic sign assist from factory which is weird. Price negotiable as long as it’s less than it costs me to buy an OBD 11 😂

The A5 2Q0 camera implies your are still shafted by VW / Skoda as far as updates and activations go. Even though this is classed as SwAP - Software As Product - they do not actually work it that way. They are not selling these products.

I have tried and even written to the CEOs. Polite FO as reply. If you had a Octavia activation would be an option.

Oh so there is no way to activate it? It can be optioned so did they replace the camera for people who spec’d it as an option!

There is only the 2Q0 as far as I know.

I’ve checked on my OBD scanner and you’re right it is 2q so I’m screwed, have had a retrofit centre say it costs £550!! Does anyone know of anyone else who offers it for less than that? I can do without it for that price 😂

There's now a modified firmware, a SwaP/FeC generator, that allows you to hack the control unit. However, you should never go online to the control unit with a factory diagnostic device.

Why mib?

MIB is the production standard. MIB 1, MIB 2, MIB 2.5 and MIB 3 for the SIII. I think MIB 4 for the new Superb. The higher the MIB the less you can code and retrofit.

I don't understand what this has to do with the TSR activation in the 2Q0 camera?

Easy and possible on MIB 2 and I think 2.5, so far not possible on MIB 3 unless the files you mention overcome this. Even dealer has been unable / unwilling so far.

I would love to try.

The TSR can be unlocked in every MIB 3. You can also basically remove your 2Q0 camera and install a 3Q0.

The SwaP Protection is on the unit A5 not on the MIB3
