  • For the first time I had the confirmation screen that updates had been installed today:

I spoke too soon. It's started asking for the update again and it has gone back to the original screens and icons. 😖

Yeah,I am also Primary and only user.

Me too...

I’ve had daily update notices and selected update each time - and logged is as Primary User.

However, today, no update notification and it had plenty of time as I had a 300 mile drive. Maybe I got the fixed version @JamesK mentioned.

Hopefully nothing tomorrow.

For me there was two new notifications after completion today stating the installed components. However, I can’t see any differences in the UI. Hopefully the answer from Skoda regarding issue solved is true. Let’s see tommorrow…

Primary user, on ver1989, I have stoped counting after sixt same "upgrade", even so, all extra options like infotaiment online run out, so how will it upgrade if I did not pay new plan. But it keeps to upgrade it self successfully every time :)

Mine seems to have stopped now, on the last update it also downloaded a "datapackage", maybe that was the fix it needed 🤔

Resolved. Thanks @JamesK !

I got similar response as @JamesK

We will see it it is fixed.

I also got the same screen.

Seems like many of us have had the same confirmation screen. No prompt for update for me today. However, I see no changes. But glad the issue seems to be solved.

Mines still doing it. It's going in for a service in 9 days, I'll get them to fix it of possible.

After confirmation screen this seems to be resolved. For a few days i have not received update notification.

Mine have stopped also.

Mine asked again today, but this time it showed me the screen with ticks on it, it also showed me that there were 2 notifications.

So i pressed the notifications with the ticks individually and so far it hasn't asked me to update again.

Got this screen when I shut the engine off this time, which I've not seen before, normally it just offers me the interior monitoring only. So something has changed.

I'll have to wait a couple of days until I need to use the car again to see if the update request reappears.20260226_165149.jpg

I still have this issue, I've reset the infotainment several times by holding the power button for 20-30 sec and I've also done a factory reset and it's still stuck at the installing stage for 2-3 weeks after getting daily notifications.

Will try another factory reset tomorrow and take it from there if they've now tweaked the software package and I need to force my car to re-download it.

issue what i have is that i click install and nothing happens if i let it check for updates then there is not one.

i am on 1989 btw

It won't for a while, then it should come back with the screen with the green ticks on it, touch them individually and it should then accept the updates and it will be all good.

Another factory reset over the weekend followed by reinstall appears to have fixed it for my car

Mines been asking me daily for about two weeks. However yesterday it did an update and for first time ever at the end of an update it booted me out of primary user and I had to login again which I’ve not done on previous OTAs so presuming this ones was a ‘biggy’ 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ 2024 Mk4 SEL on 1989
