Back to the thread; has anyone got a definitive spec on the seats? Some photos show black leather with blue piping and others show black leather with central perforated blue suede. Anyone seen a UK car 'in the flesh'?

I got an email today from the dealer I've been speaking to stating that the seats are '2 tone black and blue leather'.

Which would suggest more than just blue piping....no further information though.

Delivery date information.....

I get the impression that this is a really mixed bag i.e. even if you are down as one of the first 3 on the list with your dealer, you may not get your LTD ED from the first batch that are released.

I would assume that as the cars are released from the docks(??), and bearing in mind it's in Grimsby, all of the Northern dealers will get their stock first.

So all of you Northen Briskoda members will be posting on here first??

Gosh I'm anal, but then it is Friday. :P

Not really been following this thread fully, so apologies if this is old info, but I've had a confirmed sighting of a batch of these from a friend who works in Grimsby. Saw them at the end of last week.

He drives a black magic vRS and said they looked very :thumbup:

Steve

Thought I would start something here :). To see how many of these 1000 briskoda people will have.

I got my call wednesday about the one I put my name down for. They didn't think the first batch would have any options other than the ones we know about, to which I said I didn't want the thing.

They were having a chap from Skoda technical into the dealership on the Thursday, and were going to find out why, on the offical Skoda website you could order extra's and maybe the 2nd shipment could have built to order extras.

Not heard back from them, as of yet.

Well it's Colin who has the Ltd Education

In the same email I got from my local dealer they specifically stated no options were available beyond the spec we know of (Cruise, CD changer, 2 tome leather and Race Blue paintwork)

Getting proper information on this car is like getting blood from a stone.

Any news?

whens the earliest date mine may come?

First post on here, put my name down on the ltd ed on Saturday having only ever driven Renaults. I was going to buy another Renault but having to add virtually every extra and a much smaller engine was coming out at

why does anyone still want one of these with a whole host of newer better cars out there.

The Fabia is very much a polished turd these days i'm afraid.

not really.

for what else is available in the same price bracket, it's cheaper, quicker, more ecnomical.

for the same spec Polo as my Fabia I'd be looking at £15k

For a much lesser spec Renault i was looking at

Also, when we asked if we could have a specific number the dealer said we couldnt and you would get the number your given which is basically the 'order number' as numbers were allocated as and when they were ordered? Has anyone been advised differently?

Was told that you could try reserving a specific number, but if someone else got it sooner, tough.

According to the information on Fabia-vrs.com - Home Page the different numbers will be released at different times, so if you've reserved #425, and it's not released until the end of April, then you won't get it till then:irked:

I've told my dealer that the number isn't important, I just want the car ASAP - and so he's said he'll get me one from as early a batch as possible.

If the 2 people who ordered one before me at that dealer have asked for a number that doesn't immediately become available, I might get mine before they do ;)

As far as I know they havent been ordered yet. I'm pretty sure another post in one of these threads says they can be ordered by dealers on the 19th

When I was looking I wasnt able to find another car with similar performance, economy and reliability for the same amount of money.

Ltd or not the Fabia is still a good car at a great price IMO.

Do you not like your car any more?

some new news, courtesy of my dealer

order date for them, as previously mentioned, is Monday 19th.

however no deliveries will take place to any dealership until they have enough "in store" to be able to deliver 1 to each dealership. designed to make sure there isn't the situation where 1 dealer has one but the guy down the road doesn't

not sure if they'll attempt to deliver 1 to each dealer at the same time on the same day, and also unsure if it means they'll wait till ever dealer has 1 and only 1 before the deliver any more to those who want them

Sounds about right, they probably don't want the dealers competing too much
