  1. Past hour
  2. Issue has finally been resolved, Cylinder 3 injector had failed and was leaking fuel back to the pump. Now I probably need to replace the other 3 at a cost of nearly €300 an injector for the part alone.
  3. For safety’s sake, i would like to add rear DRLs - i think they should be standard, like on my previous car, a Volvo. There are suitable vertical surfaces on the rear bumper below the reflector to fit separate lamps, but i’m wondering about how best to do the wiring. Does anyone know if there’s an ignition controlled circuit in or near the boot to tap into? If there isn’t, where would be the best place? Thanks in advance
  4. Baxlin started following Rear DRLs?
  5. Thank you for the quick reply. I thought this might be the case. 😞 Cheers Andy
  6. Such stickers stopped being fitted anywhere quite a few years ago now, unfortunately.
  7. Apparently common in the trade Even my detailer said that Just some people are worse than others
  8. How did you do it? Which repo did you use?
  9. Christ on bike! I've heard it all now! That's the height of cowboyism... I would be naming and shaming the sellers.
  10. Hi. I'm looking at Karoqs around 3 years old and interested in seeing the PR codes before I choose. I'm pretty certain that a car around that age wil not have a service book with the build sticker attached, is there still a sticker under the boot floor cover? If so, could someone give me an idea where to look. I had a quick look in a car a few weeks ago and couldn't see one but didn't have much chance to search (it was pouring down). I'm looking for a car without SFD2 which I understand was introduced in builds late March 24 onwards. Cheers Andy
  11. Today
  12. Thank you DerekU I will check it out. I’ve never had this on a new car before.
  13. I buy oil and filters then take my car to a nearby garage (5 minute stroll) to simply change the oil and reset the service light. Brake fluid, pads and discs when the time comes. Changing air and pollen filters takes 5 minutes. And online filters cost peanuts compared with a dealer. All products are the Real Deal. Saves a fortune.
  14. I’ll check the manuals see if there’s a list Edit. No list in the manual. It does go through each individual bulb and how to change it but it lists bulb type as part of that rather than one master list.
  15. Hello. Same issue. Got it booked into Maidstone Skoda for 12 Nov. I just wanted to check that you have not had the error message again after the fix?
  16. 2016 Fabia with the dome lense over the dipped beam bulb
  17. Help needed The led DRL on my right drivers side head light failed as the headlight sprung a leak at the seam between lense and plastic case next to the wing Bought new skoda headlight from skoda dealer and fitted it but the dipped beam is just far to low Odd but the nylon adjuster looked as though some tool had already been on it so I was suspicious The main beam was ok with a tweak to its adjuster which was in perfect order I have rotated the dipped adjuster until i feel resistance. ( anti clockwise was lifting beam seemed odd direction as main was clockwise to lift ?) but it dipped beam still pointing down onto road and far lower than than it should be
  18. Hi I am about to do the same with my one as I have the very same code on my car now . Ordered the plug with wiring just in case my ones are broken to replace them as I am there and now looking for the valve itself. Can you still get them oem valves ? Really appreciate your time here sharing all the info you have and experience 😀 Thank you!

  20. the first few posts on this thread lists nearly all of them
  21. Hello, I’d like to bring up an old thread of mine again. Does anyone have any ideas regarding my issue? It seems that the authorized service center doesn't even know what to do or suggest—according to them, everything is fine. The sound in the link occurs almost every morning, or during the day after the car has been sitting for a while. Lately, it has also been happening after long drives. The sound appears when the car is rolling in 'D' (Drive) gear, or when starting to move in 'D' without pressing the accelerator pedal. As soon as the car comes to a stop, the sound disappears. They replaced the belt tensioner this week, but it didn't help. Also, besides this sound, there is some jerking when accelerating. Thanks for your thoughts. https://youtube.com/shorts/4iBDhxFsDdc?feature=shared
