  2. What you think about halfshaft or CV joints? In my opiniom resonance come from floor on passenger site also. They said that resonance on steering wheel could by coused by many electric engines of assistant system. Those systems are directly connect with steering rack.
  3. I changed on warranty right ball joint and left bearing, they also changed both back silentblock of front arms and I have small vibration back again. In my opinion, this is resonance of system from the road or its steering rack
  4. As I posted earlier, my car gave the same multiple errors as soon as the ignition was turned on, and the cause was a wheel sensor.
  5. just seen this - I do find the right charger bay doesn't always charge though, the left always works, anyone else seen this?
  6. Hello mate, There no adjustment on the camshaft on mine, you lock it from the end where the vacuum pump sits. So being is screwing with my fuel and I don't know what
  7. Hello, I have same issue with kodiaq 2.0tsi 4x4. In Poland warranty service said that every VAG car have some vibration problem. I changed mc person bearings and gearbox mount. Nothing change with vibrations. User Akodiaq please contact priv

  11. @Binx1310 can confirm you have the right part in your post, mine above was wrong. I ended up replacing because it was actually broken in two places and it basically came off completely in my hand. The 3M 24 self adhesive electrical tape is very good for that sort of thing if you can patch up though.
  12. So I have problem with my 2015 octavia 2.0tdi 184hv. I can drive the car normally for how long ever I want, but when I floor it a couple of times, the coolant reservior is empty. Some of the coolant is outside the reservior, but most of it comes back to reservior when I open the cap. Already done: changed reservior cap, changed main waterpump, changed thermostat, checked for combustion gasses in reservior with combustion test, not the liquid one and there was no combustion gasses in reservior. I think it should not be the headgasket, because in normal drive there is no problems. Could egr cooler only give pressure to the system when I floor the car or could it be some waterpump, glogged radiator or leaking intercooler. I did pressure test while it was cool and there was no leakage. Also put 1 bar pressure to turbo and pressuretester on reservior and the pressure on reservior didn't go up. Should I just buy the egr cooler or is there some test I should do first
  13. I have a similar problem with my small cc motorcycle, the rear wheel particularly. Sometimes yes sometimes no,it drives me crazy...
  14. Thanks David, but I already realised that. It's individual OR driving mode, but I really want both. Red for sport mode, and my very tasteful purple and blue individual colours for the rest of the time with my individual driving profile. I'll just have to add it to my list of annoyances...

    Some good news. https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/press-releases/skoda-auto-in-the-first-nine-months-of-2026-strong-results-and-second-best-selling-brand-in-europe/
  16. On the 1.9tdi BXE the camshaft pulley has three bolts in oval holes. When I did mine I had to loosen and adjust slightly. First I used locking tool kit and fitted belt then removed kit and rotated engine by hand but after a full rotation I had to adjust bolts slightlyt to get timing locking tools in again. Wasnt much probably 1mm but it may be enough to affect timing. Think they will run if only one tooth out but would be very noticeable. If its just slightly out by 1mm it may explain your problem. 17. https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/05e133366dt-ventilation-pipe-with-akf-valve-skoda-46956.html Found it on Skoda parts. But also found another post where @imart143 said that he used 3m self amalgamating tape to repair it so I will give that a go before spending £170!
  18. I think I’ve found it but will definitely try the tape at that price! https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/05e133366dt-ventilation-pipe-with-akf-valve-skoda-46956.html
  19. Thank you. I will message them and see what they say!
  20. Pretty sure the res delete has a subtle but noticeable effect. Note what JRRS said - anti-drone res delete. There is a closed-end tube added to the delete pipe which basically helps offset motorway drone. Probably same principle as noice cancelling - bouncing sound waves to a certain length so they’re coming back and offset the sound at fixed revs. Just an absolute guess mind you. RPM is based in Norfolk - pretty small outfit that do it all in-house. When I spoke and told him what year/engine the car was, he knew enough to ask me to look under the car and check as they had removed the res on some other models - sure enough, nothing there so I trust he has a bit of experience with the brand etc.
  21. This is the same as I have on our 1.5 tsi. Just posted about it. Can you let me know part number please and I can investigate options.
  22. Thanks for the reply Probably best of going down the custom exhaust route then, to stop any issues with fitment. I’m not sure what I want to do Sounds ok being standard Nice to have a quiet caR.
  23. Same issue here, with a cheap Ottocast it does not work. It is, as far as I can see, a compatibility issue. I updated the Ottocast firmware with no solution. My conclusion is VAG MIB units have deep hardware incompatibilities with certain multi-protocol conversion chips. Dedicated single-protocol adapters like AAWireless (which has specific VAG compatibility toggles in its app) could be the solution. For now I choose to use the cable solution as AAWireless is a bit expensive. But xmas is coming...
  24. cheers buddy ! just trying to find out which solenoid it is on my car i think it could be 1 of 2 types, thanks kev
  25. yea i have been told that, and that your car wont do a regen if there is a problem with the glow plugs. they do a bigger job than you realise. thanks!
  26. Thanks to a random video that popped up on my instagram feed I’ve found that the put put sound on tickover when warm is a broken ?vacuum? hose. dfe09568-b13e-475d-8d07-4db86c95f743.mov Any pointers as to part number for this?
  27. Many thanks. I still can't get the thing to open. Ho hum. I have tried pressing down hard as per illustration but the thing won't open. I dare no press and harder in case I damage something.
  28. I contacted the dealer about this and they said they had moved it. I checked around the car again and it is on the rear offsife door wheel arch when you open the door. Seems a strange place to put it, than the usual places. Thanks for all the input on this :).
  29. Be careful when on the look out for parts. Generally Skoda's, aside from the vRS models (and mostly the Octavia out of those), are a bit of an afterthought by tuners; it's more that parts made for other cars in the group are applicable as an afterthought. Also not that although they are all called MQB chassis, that's actually split into 4: MQB A0 - Polo/A1/Fabia MQB A1 - T-Roc/Seat Ateca/Octavia/Karowq MQB A2 - Skoda Kodiaq MQB B - Skoda Superb. Other cars in MQB-B are Passat or Arteon. Point being: some parts fit across the ranges, others don't. Generally, engine stuff will be like for like - EA211 which is yours will be the same; but stuff dictated by chassis size won't always - exhaust comes into this. Downpipe should be fine as the connection to the turbo will be the same (but its a bu66er to change because of the routing above the subframe). But the chassis are different so you may need a custom one or potentially can cobble together bits with extensions clamped up between, bearing in mind checking exhaust hangers and other bits are in the right place.
