  1. Yup, this is all the 05.2020 manual mentions: Certainly looking at various headlights on eBay, there are only two obvious white adjusters that I can see:
  2. The S and SE look to get halogen headlights with LED DRL. SE L and upwards seem to get LED headlights 👍 Please read the previous comments again - it seems the low and high beam share the same adjustment screws so there is no separate adjustment for the high beam... There is certainly no mention of a separate high beam adjustment in the manuals I have.
  3. On a MK3 Octavia, the audio connection between the headunit and canton amp uses MOST-bus. MOST-bus is based on fibre optics so it's pulses of light down plastic tubes The Android headunit will probably have high and low level outputs but I've never seen one with MOST-bus. You would need a 3rd party adaptor, for example this rather expensive convertor: https://www.kufatec.com/en/volkswagen/vw-golf/golf-7-5q/headunit-replacement-adapter-with-most-amplifier-dynaudio-canton-for-vw-golf-7-skoda-octavia-5e-41333
  4. Nope. The glovebox unit does, the screen does not
  5. I have a genuine VCDS HEX-V2 and a cloned VAS5054a with both ODIS-s and ODIS-e. VCDS covers about 99% of my use. It's easier to search for error codes online and tends to give better information, there is also support from Rosstech and their community of users. I only use ODIS for things VCDS can't do, namely flashing updates, uploading parameter sets, accessing EEPROMS or calibration of certain modules. A genuine HEX-V2 3-VIN is around £225 but there must be some folk in Austria with genuine versions. I'm not sure if we get many on this forum...
  6. This is the one on my 18 plate hatch, no obvious part number I'm afraid...
  7. That looks like it's still communicating so you should be able to get the original part number and coding from a saved autoscan. Just as a random example from a Golf: You can then recode the replacement after fitting
  8. At a guess, something is mis-coded or another module is sad. Unfortunately the ODIS output isn't particularly google friendly - I'd suggest finding someone local with VCDS to take a look. For reference, the OP asked the same on drive2, adding a link in case it gets solved there first: https://www.drive2.ru/l/630192237359150475/
  9. At a guess - it might be this: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5e5827895a9b9-boot-handle-24644.html No sure if you have an estate or hatchback? I think that's for an estate but I'm not sure.
  10. Use a windows computer or some of the many 'clean my drive' style apps that exist on macOS..
  11. Good question, quite a few options based on the info in your profile: - Model: Fabia octavia Nov 2013 1.6 tdi - Year: 2013 Given you've posted in the Octavia section, I assume it's an Octavia you're asking about? Looking at your old posts, you mention the VIN TMBKG7NE6E0070269 which would be a pre-FL MK3 Octavia,
  12. A H8 is a H8 regardless of which function it's used for If you look at the high k rated halogen bulbs, they tend to have a blue filter on the lens which reduces light output. Even with the filter, a 'blue' halogen doesn't come close to a xenon or LED in colour temperature. Instead, I would suggest grabbing a quality osram/philips bulb with a minimum of blue tinting and ignore all the 'brighter' 'whiter' 'X% further' claims...
  13. The coding will probably be slightly different between models but you might find it works well enough without. Can you add your VCDS autoscan showing the codes and what modules are fitted?
  14. Heh yeah it's not cheap for such a small thing. If it's metal, there are a few adhesives that claim to be suitable for bonding glass/metal rear view mounts. Google certainly suggested a few!
  15. It might be 6N0845543 - plenty on eBay Auto-dimming mount is probably 3AA845543B.
  16. The service history states it's a Yeti Outdoor SE and a 2015 brochure shows that model had a Bolero as standard. It appears to be ULEZ compliant based on the reg and descried as "Black SKODA YETI OUTDOOR SE TDI SCR". This is feeling like a listing mistake by the dealer. You can probably reject the car but I've no idea how hard that would be and you'd need to find a replacement...
  17. Given the OP has said their headunit is asking for a Smartlink activation code, then it'll be a MIB style Bolero or Amundsen. It's easy to tell them apart: - the Bolero has one SD card slot to the left of the screen - the Amundsen has two SD card slots, one to each side If its the latter, then it'll just need an appropriate Skoda/VW SD card and I'd be pushing the dealer to provide it. The maps can be downloaded directly from Skoda
  18. I think it needs traffic sign assist to show on the cluster im afraid.
  19. I didn't even try and remove them prior to the plusgas. Given the horror stories and that I wasn't in a rush, it didn't seem worth it. Car had ~120k miles and was 6 years old when I did it, plenty of time for them to have gotten stuck
  20. When I did my glow plugs, I applied plusgas twice a day for about a week in advance. Both at night when the engine was cool and after a journey so the engine was hot. All four came out without issue 👍 They may have been free enough but it's certainly a low cost exercise to see if it helps.
  21. Might be worth posting an autoscan? The alarm siren is a common issue (dead battery inside it) and doesn't cause the engine light to illuminate.
  22. The headlights are vented to air so over time, dirt and dust may accumulate on the lenes and other internal components. Not much you can do as they aren't designed to be serviceable I'm afraid 😞
  23. I don't think there is a 18" xtreme... Pretty sure Skoda only made it in 19" and 20". All the 18" versions I've seen are aftermarket so may not be the quality you expect. I've not had any issues with bursting tyres in the 25k I've covered, guess it depends how bad the roads are in each area...
  24. Get the part number from the broken one and try eBay?
  25. About the only picture I've seen after a quick google is this for the clutch pedal, no idea if it's LHD or RHD:
