  1. Likely a thermostat given its both oil and coolant temperature. Do you have a dsg or manual?
  2. Ideally both for the adaptation map so we can see before and after values 👍
  3. With a memory motor, it should revert to the saved position. It's plausible the initial reverse position is the same as the nomal one so it won't work until you've put the car in reverse and moved it whilst in gear. Without a memory motor, I'd expect it to just dip an amount. As I mentioned before, I think something changed in the control module which means that newer versions no longer support dipping on non-memory motors..
  4. The mirror motor is a 'dumb' device so doesn't report it's part number anywhere. You'll probably be able to check by removing the passenger side mirror glass as you'll be able to see the motor. If you can't see the part number, count the wires, 3 is a non-memory version, 7 has memory I believe there are different part numbers for LHD and RHD cars so double check before getting the part mentioned by Sasha
  5. That all seems happy. Sometimes it's easy to miss the headlight dance but I can't see anything to suggest a problem. Maybe have a helper jump in the car and start it while you watch the projectors to see if they move? Obviously from the side so they don't completely blind you
  6. @Getting100 - I think you've wondered in to the wrong section as your experiences with a MK3 Octavia aren't relevant to a MK2 Superb... Factory headhunts for a MK2 Superb don't have component protection, nor do they support CP in other modules. The only exception would be a MIB PQ STD2 (Amundsen) headunit that was fitted to the later Yeti, that does use CP and can be used in a MK2 Superb if it's been hacked. I'm sure Pab will sort you out but if not, it might be worth creating a new thread in a more appropriate section @bifferbob - it'll depend which after market headunit you choose to which functions are supported. Fitting should be pretty simple, you might need a few adaptors (wiring, antenna etc) and a new facia. Make sure you don't turn the ignition on while the airbag connector on the stereo facia is unplugged. If you do, the airbag light will come on and you'll need VCDS or similar to reset it
  7. Correct, VCDS and OBDeleven can't apply datasets. ODIS is a dealer level software and normally used with a VAS5054a or VAS6154 dongle. I doubt a dealer would help as you'd need to use ODIS to download the correct dataset from Skoda, find it on their computer, modify it, then apply it using ODIS... VCP can also upload datasets assuming you can find one that's suitable for your car. I have a VAS5054a but I don't have online access to Skoda so I can't download the original datasets.
  8. Can you post a full autoscan and an adaption map from 09?
  9. Correct, it's now possible to tweak certain parameters in the dataset for cars with a 3Q0...Q or above CAN gateway including the Superb, Octavia and Kodiaq. The hardest part is getting the original dataset for your vehicle. Over time, there will probably be a selection but I think choices are limited atm. My gateway was updated from L to Q and I was given an appropriate dataset. I've since tweaked it so the vRS mode button only lights in sport. Preventing it reverting to normal is an easy enough change too 👍
  10. It uses different maps but I thought you could use any SD/USB to update it? I believe if you put the correct maps on the Amundsen SD, the Columbus will still be able to use/copy them without an issue?
  11. You should update your VCDS software The BT is built into the RNS-315 so upgrading to a RNS-510 will need an extra wiring loom and BT module. If you haven't already, I'd clear the codes to see which, if any, come back. The haldex issue might be corrosion on the control board PCB, at least based on similar codes from some Audi's. If it's under warranty, I'd get it checked out.
  12. Probably in the drivers footwell to the right hand side
  13. It's not a blanking plate - it's the front of the MIB3 headunit...
  14. If you have an RNS-315, you should check if it's using inbuilt BT or a separate module. The RNS-510 doesn't have BT built in, so if it's the former, you'll also need a wiring loom and BT module which will get pricey. The MIB STD2 units are much better than the RNS-315 and RN-510, they should have BT built in and If you get a recent one, you'll also get android auto and carplay Might be worth adding a VCDS autoscan if you can.
  15. I've used AiDU Auto a few times, including for a very similar highline RVC for my MK3 Octavia which works perfectly. Fitting: Calibration:
  16. You'll probably find a decent pair of halogen bulbs give you more distance lighting (where you need it) than LED's in the main beams. The reason is that an LED in a reflector is unfocused so tends to give lots of foreground lighting but very little distance lighting. Less of an issue for LEDs in fog lights so as long as they don't cause glare, I'd suggest buying a quality branded item rather than cheap Chinese things though
  17. A MK2 FL from 2015 already has OPS (address 10) as only older cars from before around 2008-2009 would have PDC (address 76). It just works differently on a PQ and MQB vehicle, so I'm not aware of any PQ compatible modules that'll automatically turn on when close to an object. Not sure if it's possible, but you might want to reject the car and find a early MK3 Superb as that should be similar to your MK3 Octavia.
  18. Welcome. In future, you should post an autoscan rather than a picture A quick google suggests most 1Z0 920 803 D clusters are coded as 110B00 rather than 110800. I think that would enable the brakepad and seatbelt warnings...? Any owners manual suggests: But I've no idea how to do it... Might be worth turning the knob and see what happens
  19. Nope, no radio code for MK3 Octavia headunits 👍
  20. 1Z0 035 156 F seems to be the Blaupunkt version which is reported to have phonebook corruption issues with later 7P6 modules. I'm don't know if there is a solution or if any BT module will work with your Bolero with track skip support. Maybe someone else can add more info
  21. What's the part number and software version of you bolero?
  22. The 1K8 module is older than your original one, I doubt it's going to help... It only has three bytes as it's old You need a module that supports the AVRCP bluetooth profile. I believe this means you need a 7P6 035 730 F or newer looking at various VW forums. I'm not super familiar with the Bolero but I'm sure there are issues with older Bolero versions and some BT modules. Something about corrupted phonebooks if I remember correctly? Might be worth checking your Bolero version can support the newer modules before buying anything...
  23. There is NO component protection on these modules! From what I can tell, 7P6 035 730 C (and other 9W7 modules) support A2DP which is the bluetooth profile needed for BT audio streaming. It might just need enabling...
  24. Or just print off your own calibration board and take it with you! It cost me about £8 for a full sized print at a local printers
