  1. My Vrs estate used to handle real well on the road and even round the ring no scary moments as you describe.. as does my superb. Superb was defo softer than the octy but running koni special actives and H&R 40mm springs makes a huge difference
  2. Just double checking if these are a direct replacement mate because the part number for the standard bottom arms for a golf r are different to the standard bottom arms to the superb. But the poly pushed bottom arms from SuperPro complete don’t list for superb
  3. I could do one mate yea. It’s not loud really. Most increase in flutter on whoosh is from the Racingline turbo muffler delete and r600
  4. TVs engineering mate for dsg and remap
  5. Have just tried that 50-70 test in my mapped superb. 4th gear, 3 secs 😱 torque is king. Lol
  6. So are the suoerpro arms with bushes installed a direct fit. Been looking at this or buy the bushes separate ta
  7. I’ll post one up when I get chance of my tvs mapped 272. 380bhp 560nm. The tvs stge2+ dsg map has variable launch. So can be done at 3-4-5k rpm
  8. About a grand mate. I’ve recently been to their head office in Holland and had an updated map written to account for the r600 and gfb dv+ and 98 octane fuel. I also have a RL turbo elbow, RL turbo muffler delete and RL Silicone inlet hose old figures wirre 360bhp 530nm and new figures are 380bhp 560nm. But torque now comes in lower down rpm range and holds for longer so makes for a much smoother drive and lower down grunt for around town
  9. You’ll see 190-200bhp reliably and probs around 420-430 nm with a good custom map and dsg map. I’ve used Racingline in the past very very good reliable 100k miles trouble free on my 190 tdi and recently used TVS engineering for my 272. Both beautiful maps but the dsg map from TVS is another level
  10. Just go TVS for the gearbox… simples. Stage2+ or stage 3
  11. They generally recommend 5/40 oil for the tsi lump. Either that or a 0/30 but a 0/20 is very thin at temp. Not good. I have a mapped 272 and I use a 0 or 5/40
  12. Mine is running at 370bhp and 530nm. Map was done by TVS engineering in Holland via clp tuning in the uk. Very smooth loads of power and the TVS dsg map is beautiful:
  13. Mine was a tdi manual then superb tdi dsg and now tsi petrol dsg 7. that’s why they’ve kept torque down at 460nm ish because it’s manual. Good work 👍🏻
  14. I now have a 272 petrol, mapped to 370 however that pulls the same torque as my old diesel one. 530nm and it settles at over 500nm from 2.5kto 5.5k it’s addictive 😂
  15. Had the oem+ map on my previous superb diesel and a shark map previous to that. Both written by the same guy and did mega miles with no bother. Torque you say !! enjoy
  16. Yea they are a nice crew and the oem+ maps are awesome I’ve had a shark one on my Vrs before Ben went to Racingline and then my superb was used to develop the 190 tdi oem+ map. The dyno chart on their website is my old superb diesel. 235bhp and 540nm. ‘‘Twas quick. Did over 100k miles with both cars and no dramas. I have a 272 now and that’s made 370bhp and 530nm. get yours diagnosed and you’ll be well happy with the oem+
  17. Where did you go mate, a mapper they should be able to diagnose that because they should have every parameter available to see.. unless it was a generic upload..!!!
  18. I have the same 272.sportline plus. Late 2018 68 plate. Velvet red. it is 7speed dq381 better box. Does rev lower at motorway speeds. It has gpf AND it still has exhaust flaps if you are that way inclined lol. Amazing car and mine is lowered on koni special actives with H&R springs and has the box and engine mapped. With r600 induction , Racingline elbow and pipe and turbo muffler delete.. golf club sport discs..370bhp 530nm. And still returns high 30’s sometimes low 40’s on a steady run:
  19. One of my rear popped and was replaced free of charge no questions asked. Could have been how they were fitted. If top mounts fitted with a windy gun it can unscrew the shock from the inside !!
  20. Is the 1.4 a twin charger. ?? I don’t think it is but the cthe and cave engine that was in the Fabias was a bit of an oil burner. If it’s not the twin charged engine then I would defo go for the petrol. Price of fuel and service intervals and smoothness. I went from a diesel superb to a petrol 272 and it’s just sooooo smooth in comparison. Mother-in-law has the 150bhp version of the 1.4 yeti and it’s a really nice drive
  21. They will need recalibrating. My 2016 diesel was mapped and showed the correct torque figures through vcds but still showed standard figures on dash !! they need recalibrating but most mappers don’t have the ability do this afaik
  22. No down side. Did 100k miles with this
  23. I used clp tuning up in the north mate
  24. They are dsg specialists. Conversions, repairs mods etc but their tunes have a lot of features like life extender, optimised shifting points and smoooooth is an understatement. Just makes the car so easy to drive
