  1. @skodamota Is that petrol or diesel? And they decided against doing a vRS version... Pfft, wimps.😄
  2. You'd have to get out and physically turn on the child locks on the rear doors.
  3. H_M_R_1701 Usually on a Gran Turismo of any vintage. Maybe occasionally a Star Wars Battlefront or Star Wars Squadrons.
  4. Ok then, well the first thing you could try would be turn the ignition on and listen for the fuel pump priming. It should run for a few seconds so you should hear it if it's working. If you know that's working, you could then try priming it a few times (turn the ignition on for about ten seconds and off again) to make sure the fuel has plenty of pressure in the low pressure system. It could be fuel running back to the tank and trying to prime up might well show if the pump is faulty. If this becomes apparent, a check of wiring to the pump would be worthwhile before testing the pump and replacing if necessary. Let us know how you get on.
  5. They should fit fine. You would need to check that the brake caliper doesn't rub on the back of the wheel. If it does though, you just need to get a set of spacers.
  6. The Spiders look really good on the Mk II! I like that. Bet they look good on the Mk III as well. The Octavia ones did. I might need to experiment.😁
  7. I don't think the 1.5 engined Fabia is being released until next year.
  8. Is that 195/50R16 size? I've just received a set of Goodyears for my Fabia in that size, so I'll have to get them stuck on in the next few weeks even though we probably won't get any kind of frostyness until into the new year if current trends are followed. I got three winters out my last set of Goodyears on my Octavia two of which involved a lot of commuting which the set on the Fabia will be doing too. Also the standard 205/45R16s are coming on impossible to get as I'm sure you found too.
  9. Yeah the tread looks decent enough from the first pic of them. Are they just All Season or full blown winter?
  10. What tyres have you gone for?
  11. Great news! Glad you got it sorted. My Karoq still has the big USB sockets so I just use my charging lead. Hopefully it can connect no bother. I really would need to go and try it.😏
  12. Certainly on my Xperia phones whenever I connect with the cable it always came up asking me if I wanted to just charge/transfer files etc but only if I activated the screen when I plugged it in. If I just plugged it in and left it, the phone would just charge. On my most recent Xperias (X Compact and now 10 III), the only notification I get to ask what I want to do with my connection is the little usb symbol up in the top left corner of the screen. And if you don't get any notification you should be able to alter your settings (Device Connections). There is settings in there for usb and Android Auto. I usually just stream music over Bluetooth, I've never bothered to set up Android Auto. So I might well not be able to use it either!😄
  13. Sounds like you need a software update to activate Android Auto if it isn't even showing up in your menu. Might be worth a call to the dealer. I've never even looked at mine to see if I have it, I always just use Bluetooth.
  14. I would be doing the same. It's not as daunting a job as it sounds.
  15. Skoda do the Velvet Red which is a similar colour to that Mazda. I was looking at a MkIII estate vRS in it and it was very nice. Not quite as pearly as the Mazda colour I think though. Might be too close to Corrida Red though...🤔
  16. Very good Ryan. I think they just finish off the look nicely.
  17. Bet you carried them by the handles too! 😄
  18. It looks like the bottom of the piece that the radiator and basically the whole front end is attached to. It probably looks like it doesn't have anywhere to fix to because it was actually a part of a molded/cast piece as shown below, Part No 1: https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/fabia/fab/2013-697/8/805-805000/
  19. Sump plug is the same as the one discussed in this thread. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/498443-skoda-fabia-sump-plug/
  20. What does that repair involve then do you know? I have the tyre replacement dilemma at the moment too. My Duelers have worn off the outer edges although there's still a good bit of legal tread so they would do a few miles yet and I have a set of 17" wheels with all season tyres on to use. But I could sell them and replace the Duelers for all seasons. Ah well, I'll keep thinking...
  21. A not that recent pic of my vRS. A work in progress.
  22. Thanks, I've yet to post any pics of it properly but I'm working on it. I really should have a project thread for it too but I'm rubbish at taking pics as I'm working through a job. I tend just to plough through until its done or I come up against a problem that means I need more bits!
  23. Ah you'll be a little jealous of my vRS then...
  24. Yeah I love threads like that. There's one in the Felicia section or a special editions one at least. Its facinating to see all the editions, to me anyway. Saddo I am!
