  1. 'and I have a slight rumble from a wheel bearing' as reported by the OP on 22 April 21. Thanks, AG Falco
  2. Check / correct all tyre pressures and then set the TPMS. Check all pressures in a week or if the TPMS light comes back on. Repeat every week and assume you have a problem if one tyre has gone down in pressure. Please note, the car TPMS system does NOT measure your tyre pressures. Thanks, AG Falco
  3. This I think is easier to replace as it is on the front of the engine just above the oil filter. It is not connected to the cam belt at all. Thanks, AG Falco
  4. It's a Petrol TSI engine. Please note there are TWO water pumps on this engine. Which one is leaking? The mechanical one is on the opposite side from the timing belt so is not touched when the timing belt is changed. It is integrated in with the thermostat housing and is on the gearbox side of the engine. The other is electrically driven and is at the front of the engine. Is the noise the tyres? Thanks, AG Falco
  5. If you set a maximum speed when you are towing you might find you get a dash warning when you exceed the set speed. This can also be set if you have winter tyres fitted as well. Had a customer in yesterday that had unintentionally set the winter speed warning for 20 MPH. The warning noise worked every time they exceeded 20MPH. Thanks, AG Falco
  6. The limiting stopping power on a car is the tyres as they give up grip before the brakes stop working. So get grippier tyres if you want to stop quicker. Thanks, AG Falco
  7. The only difference between the 1.0 TSI 95PS and 110PS engines are the engine map and the 110PS has the 6 speed gearbox. So if the remap from the 110PS engine was used ( by Celtic Tuning? ) then this should be as good as 110Ps engine is. Thanks, AG Falco
  8. It fits in the spare wheel well without needing to be deflated! Skoda Fabia III 1.2 TSI 2016 is also a £30.00 road tax car. Rates did go up from April 2017 though. Thanks, AG Falco
  9. The overall diameter of a 15'' wheel with a 185 60 15 tyre is 603mm The overall diameter of a 16'' wheel with a 215 45 16 tyre is less at 600mm The extra width might be a problem though. Where do you put a normal wheel/tyre if you have had to put the spare steel wheel/tyre on? Thanks, AG Falco
  10. I have 15'' Alloys on my Skoda Fabia III 2016 and I have a full sized Alloy in the boot as well. I ordered it with a full sized spare but this came with a steel wheel rim. This I swapped for an alloy the same as the rest of my wheel rims. You could try and see if one of your wheels/tyres fit in the wheel well first. I have always found a spare wheel/tyre that is the same size as the rest more useful than a space saver. Cambelt? Thanks, AG Falco
  11. Is this compared to last years fuel consumption figures? Thanks, AG Falco

  14. The belt manufacture is Continental and they suggest to check it at 160,000 and then every 20,000 The car maker, Skoda, suggest ( In the UK ) you change it at 60,000 or 5 years which ever is the soonest. Thanks, AG Falco

  20. Also note that if you unlock the doors but don't open one, the car will relock them after a short while. So this is how you can then come back to a locked car but with all the electric windows down. Thanks AG Falco
