Replacement Battery
OP stated the vehicle has stop/start.

Replacement Battery
There is no need to maintain power during battery replacement. Infotainment settings will be retained. It is important that the new battery is properly adapted (coded) into the vehicles BCM. Any random faults generated on restoration of power will automatically clear after a short drive.

New to me Superb IV: central locking set up?
There is a pretty steep learning curve with these mobile computers nowadays. I wonder how a modern cars computing power compares with The Apollo Space Programme capsules.

New to me Superb IV: central locking set up?
Hello, I'm not sure for the MkIV - but check the convenience options menu in the infotainment. There is probably an option (check/tick box) 'Unlock Drivers door' - or 'unlock all doors' in it.

Transmission confusion
Cue all DSG owners demanding the 'missing' clutch pedal be retrofitted. 🤣

MPG dropped
All warning lights should light up during switch on, start up test - does the DPF warning light up then? Have you ever seen this warning indicator in the time you've owned the vehicle? It is possible that the DPF has been 'gutted' or otherwise tampered with before you purchased it.

MPG dropped
I don't drive a diesel, but there should be a yellow symbol lit up in the instrument cluster (apparently looks like an exhaust silencer) when a regen is called for - this warning light might be accompanied by the MIL light if there are issues, there will also be a warning text message if the regen is interrupted before it is completed.

MPG dropped
Are you saying that DPF regens are not occurring at all?

MPG dropped
How often is it calling (and completing) a DPF regen?

Start Stop issues
Hello Danny, does this stop/start reactivation occur after you stop and shut-off the ignition? That is normal. Was the new battery adapted (coded) into the vehicles BCM?

Auto emergency stop for no reason?
Even some Tesla users have been caught out in spectacular fashion while in autonomous mode.

Alloy wheels
I agree that the pressure drop is substantial - the point I was attempting to make was that the pressure loss is not obvious with a visual check, and solely relying on the indirect TPMS to confirm tyre pressures is ill-advised.

what is good mpg and why does mine seem low
I gather that there are two engine power options - 60PS & 70PS. Figures on Parkers for fuel use are 47 to 55 MPG. The manufactures quoted figures are often very difficult to attain - so I'd think your 46.8 is not too bad for 'normal' driving.

Hello Ollie, welcome to the forum. Not familiar with the CityGo - what engine and fuel?
-
Alloy wheels
With experience of more than 6 slow punctures, my TPMS consistently flags at approx. 0.5 bar drop. At that pressure (on 16s) the excess sidewall bulge is not that obvious, so better to check pressures with a reliable gauge.

Will it start?
@Occy245 Please don't let one member with a very poor attitude deter you from partaking in the forum.

Will it start?
The 'Ignore' button works ok though.

mEHV cold starts using 48V or 12V battery?
I should edit my post to say 'Crank Engine' instead of 'Start ICE' - but too late for edit.

stop/start fault on start up
That's not the way the BCM works, maintaining the power only prevents transient faults being generated when the battery is reconnected, which will all clear themselves after a short drive anyway - any battery faults that may be restricting charge from the alternator to the old battery will NOT be cleared by maintaining power while the battery is replaced - nor will any material changes to battery type or capacity be registered to the BCM.

stop/start fault on start up
@PetrolDave Can you confirm my belief that stop/start unavailable is not an MOT fail?
-
stop/start fault on start up
Hello, welcome to the forum. I recall the stop/start warning being worded as -'Stop-Start unavailable' ,or something similar - is that the warning you get? AFAIK - (and I stand to be corrected) that is not an MOT failure point. A few questions - - Was the new battery adapted (coded) to the vehicle when it was replaced? - Was the alternator tested at the time for correct output? - Was the correct type of battery fitted?

Will it start?
OP explained originally that he didn't want to further deplete any remaining charge by starting engine while he was unable to drive vehicle to recharge.

Auto lower mirror while reversing not working
Plus, if you don't have memory seats, the mirror dipped position can be a little random.
