  1. Varta A7 if AGM, as well as changing the BEM code you’ll need to change from 68ah to 70ah or whatever the new one is Regarding the stalling is it auto? I had this a few times few years back and never happened since after changing original rear discs and pads, coincidence hmm
  2. If DPF is blocked they’ll be errors and lights galore, does your fan run when you stop and turn ignition off? If so that’s doing a regen which does smell funky but only outside (or should be) Might be worth giving it the italian tune up for 15 minutes anyway, if you don’t have country lanes then go on the motorway and keep it in 3rd or 4th so the RPM’s over 2-3k. Have you tried recirculating mode on for air vents? Pull your pollen filter out too, but do it correctly by placing cardboard under pollen filter first! Then bring out pollen filter on its own!
  3. I have ACC, rain sensor but no camera
  4. Ah you might have what I believe is called a5 camera for traffic sign recognition. If so not sure but I bet @ApertureS will know for sure
  5. Over here we have AutoGlass and I insisted they replace windscreen with an OEM one after a failed chip repair, if you can do the same I’d recommend it and only cost me £10 in total Everything worked perfectly afterwards, ACC radar is on the bonnet by the way
  6. Hmm, next things I’d try then would be start the car and lift bonnet on and have a smell around but make sure it’s not a windy day just on exhaust your exhaust fumes don’t get blown forward. Secondly have the air controls set to recirculating only then turn it off and keep it off then go for drives. If you smell fumes in your engine bay then it’ll be a case of trying to find it, maybe find a garage which can put a probe around to see if that can detect fumes (I’m sure such a device exists) I think it’ll just be a case of hunting, unlikely to be DPF issues at such low mileage tbh, if it was 360k miles then yeah
  7. No idea on the values but if it’s blocked then it would pop up as an error id like to think. Ignoring that side of things have you changed pollen filter recently and is your air quality sensor working? I believe when air quality sensor is working correctly it puts the car into recir mode automatically. Is it 100% coming from your own car? If you were out driving when no one’s about and you can smell it then it’ll be your car. Also not to sound rude but can others smell it in your car or just you? Could have been behind a stinky vehicle now you are smelling for it, if that makes sense
  8. Did you buy the orange ramps? I got a pair ages ago but couldn’t drive my SEL on it as the front bumper would scrape, despite having a wheel arch gap big enough to fit a family of 4. I had to put some wood In front, I’d rather not but wondering if you got the same ramps
  9. Not sure about relays Does your car have xenons? If so keep activating the washer and see if the headlight washers work. If not it’ll probably be best to take wheel arch liner off anyway and get testing with a multi meter when you try to wash your windscreen
  10. Does the rear wash work? If it does then it’s 100% the pump on the washer bottle itself and 2 way valve broken Then all you need to do is remove wheel and wheel arch liner and replace
  11. Never heard of ohme, so I googled ohme Skoda and saw this Not exactly your issue I don’t think but scrolling through quickly I saw some others with ohme and octopus might help might not 😁
  12. I was randomly looking at glowplug videos yesterday on YouTube looks straight forward “Skoda superb glow plugs replacement” “vw Passat glow plug replacement” should find loads then Someone did use wd40 to release. How many miles and has yours done? Seems glow plugs failing quite common now looking here, it is colder now though so being used harder I suppose
  13. Wing mirrors wrong colour on the screen, absolute slacker 😭 Where are the cameras for the aerial view? I thought it was rear only on superbs
  14. The fact both are alike makes me think it’s unlikely anything to be off. Hopefilly you’re just expecting too much, myself and others have said the headlights aren’t the best. For coding I suspect @JR RS will know as he’s swapped headlights over previously, 99% sure it’s plug and play
  15. Originals aren’t that good, you need night breaker lasers or Philips extreme vision for best light output but do get some pictures of your projectors, there is a way to clean them but involves dismantling it and putting headlights in the oven but it’s a lot of work. The headlights are pretty much sealed units so shouldn’t ever really get dirty or dusty, so if it’s really bad then headlight is probably naff anyway, is it the same on both sides? Cleaning the inside of the projector should be easier, bulb out and get a long cotton bud soaked in isopropyl alcohol, never done this though Replacing headlight itself isn’t cheap either
  16. What bulbs did you get? I’ve also found doing a full turn anti clockwise (heightened) to improve the lights. If the exterior lens is rubbish then you can try something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/3M-39073-Restoration-Discoloured-Headlights/dp/B0078IHJ1K/ref=asc_df_B0078IHJ1K?mcid=d71d28b5dde738efba1b71684a22f97b&tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=697364890259&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9403890865363855571&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9191904&hvtargid=pla-467642978334&psc=1&gad_source=1 You will most likely like to reapply uv coating. Post a picture of your lights at night from within the car Abd another of your lens as you said it’s like being sandblasted but might be what we all have anyway and not the issue
  17. If you’re in eco and using acc it won’t go into coasting, something to bear in mind
  18. Bodge it https://www.amazon.co.uk/Under-Cupboard-Kitchen-Lights-LED/dp/B0DCGDTN3S/ref=asc_df_B0DCJ4XNBQ?mcid=85c7ea31bad531a381439416059564cb&tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=714655221788&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11789951457197271629&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9191904&hvtargid=pla-2370951649418&psc=1&gad_source=1&th=1
  19. Must admit I can’t hear much Does it happen when there’s a passenger sat in the seat? Also have you tried moving the seat all the way forward or back? Just wondering if there’s something in the rails rattling
  20. Wheel covers that’s going back some years Only thing I can think of is make sure the tyre valve is properly lined up with the wheel cover value hole then cable ties
  21. Not too sure about Ireland, it’s somewhat similar but no way near as accurate as google maps because that shares data instantly. Not too sure about quality difference, I don’t think that when android auto or apple is involved it plays audio over Bluetooth, but in your audio settings have a search for something like “Bluetooth audio sound” my car it was set to low, as soon as I put that to high it sounded better but that was for me playing music
  22. No issues , won’t bring in bugs as it’s literally for maps only so no new features, just roads . I always do it on mine. You should see Europe maps and not just world, if you’re in UK as you using the correct url for Skoda update portal? As the car is new to you in the last few years Skoda stopped receiving traffic reports, if you’ve got vcds etc you can change a code to get this back though. If traffic reports important to you and don’t have vcds etc then just stick with google maps via android auto and apple car play, at least it’s live data for traffic compared to what could be old news through traffic reports
  23. ^ that’s the sticker I was thinking of, shame they don’t have it there, most other cars do 😞
  24. Isn’t it on the sticker in the door pillar? Note the paint code will be there not the name
  25. Inspection service is the basic, which is oil change and visual look at things. ”extended scope” isn’t much better as it’s basically the same If I was you I’d change things like pollen filter and air filter as well, easy to do and cheap enough You can also clear the message by doing some funky button hold and ignition on but can’t remember the order, YouTube will help there though
