  1. B4 is meant to give you OE comfort plus a little better B6 is more harder and would require insurance to be informed I suspect If it was me I’d go B4 as I prefer comfort to bang crash hardness
  2. Eco mode gives you the ability to coast but acc deactivates this feature because it’ll slow the car down using engine braking and brakes. With acc disabled and you go down a hill your car will just free fall Basically your car is fine
  3. Wasn’t aware you could get them separately, make sense you can though
  4. Yes but you can’t buy them on their own https://www.amazon.co.uk/Skoda-Genuine-Alloy-Covers-Locking/dp/B08PL6HVHD/ref=asc_df_B08PL6HVHD/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=500890667741&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2143506665368710700&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045795&hvtargid=pla-1276197924917&psc=1&mcid=351b6f41c156336ca8927618564ff01d by the way they may or may not fit, just random quick search to show you
  5. Nice result that from an unfortunate circumstance 😞
  6. Have you tried looking inside with a torch? Might be something has fallen inside
  7. Cover didn’t come off, but I must have pushed it back somehow when I had the fan plugged in so the cover was open as such
  8. Excellent thanks, this is going to be hard to fix I bet!
  9. I think I get what you mean, I’ve not had a play because I didn’t want to somehow make things worse and hoping I can see someone else’s then hopefully it’ll make sense
  10. Here’s a picture of mine, forgot to add it earlier see the metal spring at the bottom, that needs to clip into something but not sure what
  11. Yeah that’s correct the piston doesn’t touch it or at least not straight away, it’s meant to stop squeals etc and improve wear rate, allegedly
  12. Hello i’ve some how buggered up my 12v cover in the boot and no longer swings back can someone take a picture of theirs and upload it please? The bit I’m interested in is where the metal spring bit is meant to be thanks
  13. Ah Ah might be why, when you remove your current ones if they’re standard ones you’ll see the crescent I’ll be changing my fronts at some point and going with ate ceramics, fed up with brake dust these days
  14. Do they have the half moon on them? Or at least an arrow?
  15. I don’t blame you for not wanting to spend loads, but you’d need to workout if spending up to £5.6k is better than buying another 2nd hand car, especially if nothing takes your fancy for what you can afford. The only other option is to sell it via webuyanycar, they only do an extremely short test drive and don’t mention it, bit cheeky but they only put them in an auction anyway, then it’s someone else’s issue for buying at auction where all cars are dodgy. Just don’t mention any issues! Past experience has shown me that selling via webuyanycar offer at 1 price, then if you leave it a few weeks and do another quote it’s much lower. So if you go that route, have a good think first then commit to first price and be done with it
  16. Sadly not, I put one in my Passat B5.5 and he still hated it. He’s a rescue so gawd knows what happened to him in the first 6 or so months of his life, or he’s just being silly 🤪 Where did you get that from anyway? Be good for future dogs (sounds horrible I know 😞 )
  17. We take too much, so back seats fully loaded as my dog refuses to have anything in the boot with him. He’s only a medium sized dog so 90% of the boot is empty 😂 So end up with big tent, 2 camping chairs, duvet, pillows, clothes etc all on the back seats, need to invest in a roof rack and box I think but expensive, especially as I want Thule
  18. Only thing to bare in mind is rotation oriented pads, I believe the Skoda has them so when replacing make sure you don’t mix them up
  19. In that case, oil change and brake fluid is all you need doing
  20. Hey up, it's this one https://www.premierproductsltd.co.uk/product/skoda-superb-estate-2015-2019-fully-tailored-boot-liner It took around 3 weeks as they make them, if you have an estate without variable boot like mine, don't velcro the bottom bit where the bottom of the back seats folder, you'll have no problems then after tucking bits in, makes it nice and tight. I also used some good double sided velcro on other bits on the back seats as I felt like it needed them. Everywhere else is fine with the standard velcro thats stiched there. One side of the velcro is like sticky tape, which goes onto the carpet, the other bits are sewn into the fabric. You can then remove the whole bootliner for cleaning if you want keeping the velcro attached to the car. If you get it and run into any issues let me know and i'll be able to guide you, if you can't work it out like I did. Had to get the misses involved and makes sense now options I used was 1 piece quilted, 40/60 split, bumper flap extension and anti slip on the base
  21. haha, yes, especially as he has a fan in the boot just for him too (still wish more cars had rear A/C vents for dogs etc) with the odd flying hairs they're a lot easier to pick up. With the old knackered boot liner where it didnt really cover the carpet bits properly the hairs really stuck on because he rubbed into as well, boo
  22. The correct way to change them is wheel off and then remove wheel arch liner. I not long changed my xenon’s and even with the wheel archer liner off I really struggled clipping them back in with the non SLA version, where there is two metal prongs you move. It’s such a simple locking but because of the tightness I could only use my right hand and I’m left handed, so I put it down to my brain not working properly 😩 SLA version is turn bulb anti clockwise to unlock then pull out and clockwise to lock it, much easier I imagine Glad it’s all sorted, guess next up for you is to get a decent trolley jack and axle stands and do other bits yourself now
  23. A while ago I made a thread to show dirty superbs instead of all clean and this was my pictures @Steviedakota You said something like “I hate to break it to you but your liner isn’t working” and for the 2 years or so every time I opened the boot I remembered what you said and laughed every time 😂 but today I’ve just fitted this much better, although foul words were used as it was a pain to make it fit and had to use some of my own velcro as IMO it needed it on the back of the seats
  24. Boo, not that then
