  1. Dr Li has no history ;o) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1216411/Revealed-Rover-directors-mysterious-lover-Qu-Lis-links-Chinese-firm-lifts-shifts-British-motor-industry.html
  2. oooh I like this i
  3. between-3-6 years old and under 100,000 miles (my italics) if (like me) your car has done 125,00ish then you don't get the MOTs, the roadside assistance or warranty extension The 2 options you do get (which in fairness are discounted from when I looked a few weeks ago) are:
  4. also the Superb (and possibly other Skodas) need the extra door width to accomodate the water bottles that don't fit in the standard cup holders ;o)
  5. (i'm sure theres a better version but hey ho)
  6. so EVs cause more damage but pay less road tax? Makes sense ;o)
  7. they could be anywhere but yes its not unusual for them to be near the junctions
  8. which is very nice and of course will cause no arguments when you get home and someone else is parked in " your spot" even though you have no legal right to automatically park on the road outside your own home but its still "your spot" ;o)
  9. the Cybertruck almost makes the Fiat Multipla look like an attractive option..............
  10. I'm sort of thinking the "easiest" solution to a lot of these questions about ignition switched feeds to accessories is to add a fused feed direct from the battery switched by a relay triggered from the apparently infamous fuse 47. Then again maybe it isn't ;o)
  11. ahhh , the 612 (unlike the 422) cant have a rear cam or driver facing cam connected to it can it?
  12. that was my initial thought as well but then I thought... "ah maybe the OP doesn't want to have to run any sort of wiring down the length of the car"
  13. Surely the Snowy Mountains are the coldest part of Oz ?
  14. this appears to be a generic Skoda thing. The cupholders in my Superb are too small for the mugs we use in my GFs Ioniq (& previously in my Ceed)
  15. Black on silver/grey looks good. Need to do my superb at some point
  16. But officer i needed access to the road at the end of the street............................... all comes down to the legal definition of access I guess ;o)
  17. may not apply in the OPs case but my MY18 SE almost poverty spec MK3 doesn't have the drive mode options. What it does have under car settings is a separate ACC menu where you can tell it which mode to use. No idea if cars with Mode selectors have this same setting.
  18. ah remember when mudflaps used to be almost a standard fitment? I'm guessing there are 2 primary reasons for their demise: 1) bean counters 2) lowering the CD figure
  19. I like Duvel.............. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-68512156
  20. I take the pragmatic view. If you listened to every single warning/issue out there about anything you would never get out of bed in the morning (although I have no doubt there are some sort of warnings about staying in bed lol) In the OPs case a 2023 car will still have some manufacturers warranty left and as suggested above just do the relevant maintenance otherwise just drive & enjoy
  21. or if anyone doesn.t want/need the the full expense/functionality of ODBeleven and just wants a simple/cheap generic system that will read/clear fault codes get a dongle like this for between £20-£25 and use a the free version of Car Doctor
  22. Oh I found that one day 1 as someone had left the flap open lol
  23. well blow me down with a feather duster. Had the car 3 weeks now and didn't realise there was a compartment there lol
