Skoda Octavia 3 Owners register
Posts I've seen on here suggest that Kopecek will ship 'small' items still and the problem is only with 'large' items. You'll need to contact them to ask whether the items you want to purchase can be shipped to the UK at the moment.

Tomtom Sat nav on a Bolero screen
I've been using Google Maps via CarPlay on my other car for several months and have been very impressed - I think you'll find the capabilities are not very different from your TomTom, certainly more than on a PC.

Tomtom Sat nav on a Bolero screen
If you use Android Auto with a USB connection and Google maps you can download maps while connected to your home WiFi so the only data usage while in the car would be for traffic information.

1.4TSI vs 1.5TSI Octavia DSG 2018 differences?
Earlier 1.4TSI were 140PS not 150PS, my 2015 1.4TSI is 140PS.

KPH/MPH
Not sure that's a good assumption based on the number of cars still in dealers with the owners driving hire cars...

1.4 tsi autonomy
We get at least 450 miles from a full tank in our 1.4TSI, and neither of us are gentle drivers!

stop-start problem
Yes, stop-start works as expected on my 2015 Octavia 1.4TSI. The instant restart suggests that as soon as the engine stops the system thinks that because of high current consumers (e.g. aircon) and/or low battery battery voltage it needs to restart the engine again. Worth checking the vehicle status screen on the infotainment to see what is being reported there as reason(s) for the stop-start to behave strangely.

18 or 19
I don't agree with that; whether the boot liner will be sticking up depends on the width of the tyre not the diameter of the wheel, and so long as the overall diameter of the wheel/tyre combination is near enough the same as the current wheel/tyre combination it will fit into the well in the boot.

How to...
You can also get a "dongle" for VCDS, it's called HEX-NET which can be either connected to a Windows PC using a USB cable or over WiFi, or can connect to a mobile phone/tablet running any web browser as it can generate it's own WiFi access point.

About to swap a 15 1.6 CR TDI for a 1.5 TSI
OP mentions a 20 plate 1.5TSI but should check what MY the diesels became Euro6 compliant as a first step and check any car he looks at too (cars can often be in stock for several months and be from an earlier MY than the registration suggests).

About to swap a 15 1.6 CR TDI for a 1.5 TSI
If OP regularly drives into Glasgow and is hoping to keep the new car after 2023 he may well be best to get a petrol because of the Glasgow LEZ

Was that the years when Ferrari were running an illegal fuel flow rate?

One touch Windows
Some MQB platform cars (which includes the Octavia 3) require you to do the wind the window all the way and hold both going up & down more than once (I've seen as many as 5 times mentioned).

Bolero 10'
That's new on the MIB3 then as the Bolero always used to be missing sat nav - of course the Skoda guide could be wrong (It's been wrong on so many things about the Octavia 4!).

Infotainment Model Numbers
See this thread Infotainment retrofitting by @pab567 it's a MY17 MIB2

Car purchased some quick queries.
You need a MIB2 from mid 2015 onwards (probably 2016 model year). There's been many posts on here about MIB2 retrofitting - basically you'll need a new screen, new main unit (in the glovebox), all FeC (Feature Codes) reenabling and CP (Component Protection) removing.

Dealing with skodauk
They are lying, warranty work can be done at any dealer and they will be paid by Skoda UK. I bought my Octavia from a Skoda dealer in Southampton but had warranty work done by the dealer in Barnstaple after moving to Devon.

Bolero 10'
AFAIK the Bolero doesn't have sat nav?

2014 VRS Infotainment Swap
... or an independent specialist garage who has a Fazit connection to the VAG servers.

Delivery times?
... and many other car manufacturers (JLR have just halted production) caused by a shortage of microchips, of which there are now many in cars - the chip manufacturers have received orders way in excess of their production capacity and it will take many months for them to meet those orders. They can't simply increase chip production as it costs literally billions to build a new production line and takes months (years?) to build.

2014 VRS Infotainment Swap
CP = Component Protection. When some modules (including the MIB2 and the Canton Amp) are installed in a different car they will only partially work - this is an anti-theft measure implemented by VAG and removing CP needs either the units to be hacked or a diagnostic tool with access to the corporate servers (not something that VCDS, OBD11, etc.) can do.

MY21 Sportline and no cd player
The formats that CJJE mentioned are formats of the memory stick, not formats of the music files.

Gear shift indicators all on
That means there is a fault code logged in the automatic transmission control module, you need to get it read with a fault code scanner to see what the problem is.
