  1. Looking at your other posts, it's a 1.2 engine so probably a gearbox looking like this from the front. Lowest red paint blob is the reverse sensor.
  2. So find your gearbox code as suggested ^ and I can show you a picture of where the reversing sensor is. 🙂
  3. Crank sensor isn't far from there, on back of block looking at back face of flywheel, I think. Will try to find a good image.
  4. Don't think it will have a vehicle speed sensor, does what you found look like this?
  5. Owners manuals are usually pretty rubbish for fuse info. Far too many variations with engines and fitted options, and over time, for them to cope. Circuit diagrams available on erWin for a small fee are much better once you learn to read them. But as already said, much more likely a broken wire.
  6. That was before he got an XZN tool, I think, so 'as fitted by Skoda'. Not sure I see anything wrong with it. Unless he had a go with some other tool. New photo of screw head and close up of tool used this time would be good.
  7. Well I've learnt something this morning. Apparently these screws/bolts are an imperial thread 7/16" -20 UNF. There seem to be a couple of different lengths suggested, not sure on what basis. PM your VIN and it may help me to narrow it down to 1.
  8. Damaged the tool or the head of the bolt?
  9. I favour learning to DIY; kinda the point of asking for help (and giving it) on forums like this. And specifically what the OP wants to do. @MrRich do you know your engine code please? Probably on build sticker in boot.
  10. Supposedly trained people failed twice, according to my reading of the first post...
  11. Check fuse 12. More often a broken wire just at the cable entry of the sensor connector though. Read gearbox code off boot sticker for more precise help/pics.
  12. All sounds wise but still happy to find part number and price if you like.
  13. What part number is on the main exterior handle, please?
  14. Found a reference to that 5N0839167B part for a 6R Polo 2011, but the bracket associated with it is same part number 5N0839885H. 🤔
  15. I'm wondering if the outer handle and cap bit aren't original to the car. Will see what I can find for that 167B cap, any idea what year Polo?
  16. Google images is possibly your friend. I don't have such a part, I'm just looking at what catalogue says is correct for your car.
  17. I'm seeing 5N0839885H listed for your VIN, for passenger front door. £32.72 + VAT from Skoda. Are you sure about that 5N0839163B part number? google draws a blank on that, as does ETKA, unless I'm doing something wrong.
  18. I doubt you'll get a full loom anywhere except Skoda/ TPS. There are several variants so aftermarket suppliers are unlikely to be interested. PM me your VIN and I can tell you part number and Skoda retail price, if you like. One thing you may not be aware of unless you've seen me mention it, is that it's very easy to completely remove the door from the car, massively improving access for a repair using connector repair kits as pictured.
  19. I equipped myself with a Hex V2 interface recently and am happy to assist with scans and fault-finding. Near Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Really not interested in interior/exterior lighting mods, so if that's what you want, try someone else, ta.
  20. Genuine front badge from (any) Skoda dealership is 3U0853621BMEL @ £23.30 inc VAT.
  21. Just scan the ABS module, any fault codes should point you in the right direction.
  22. Hit it with VCDS lite, if you haven't already. No toothed hubs involved, the sensor looks at a magnetic ring integrated into inner face of wheel bearing.
