Reversing camera
By all means use your mirrors but there will still be a massive blind spot directly behind you that you cannot see - due to the car's bodywork. You could look at this area before reversing but it could easily be filled by something without your knowledge as you reverse (small child, perhaps a cat or dog that you also wouldn't see in your door mirrors. A reversing camera overcomes this issue and allows you to see everything you can see in the mirrors PLUS that blind spot directly behind you from the bumper back. I don't have a camera on our Kodiaq and am very very careful but do on our Swift and there is no doubt about it the camera does help from a safety point of view (even when reversing such a small car).

Leaky door seal
If it's anything like the earlier Fabia's it'll be the inner door carrier seal that is leaking... rain and the like drains internally into the door between the outer bodywork and an inner door skin / carrier behind the door trim. The inner skin / carrier is normally sealed against the rest of the door by a foam sealing strip around the edge but this deteriorates and then causes water to run between the it and the door trim, down onto the top of the door seal and the into the footwell. The solution is to take the door trim off and re-seal the lower section of the inner door carrier / skin to the rest of the door using something like gutter sealant or plumbers gold.

Help required regarding ECE error codes.
As has been mentioned a few times it's the cornering lights function. As you slow and turn the steering wheel to turn a corner the fog light on the same side as the corner lights up to help you see the kerb and round the corner.

That bulb you arrowed is the fog / cornering light. The other outer bulb is the DRL.

Adroid auto! Stop to searching
To be honest it probably is a Samsung problem as they have a habit of messing with Android in their phones in such a way that it breaks certain functions... They have regular history of doing so. Personally I wouldn't buy a Samsung phone for that reason alone... Your far better off with plain unadulterated Android.

Fabia III accelerates/maintains speed on its own after releasing the accelerator pedal
That sounds very much like the anti stall feature these engines have...

Can someone identify this part of BJB engine and give name and/or part number
Looks to be a turbo outlet hose

Just cancelled
True but that's only the case if you use it without thought. I have it on the Swift and use it and my eyes... my eyes watching well ahead as well as the radar cruise control. As ever the tech can help if used as extra help rather than as a stand alone system.

Stupid question but does your car have cruise control and is it set?

If you are talking about the lower light unit under the headlight it has two lights and two separate bulbs in it. One serves as a drl and the other is a fog light. So it's perfectly possible for a drl bulb to have blown but the cornering lights, which use the fog lights, to still work.

2022 Honda civic hybrid
In my experience Honda's started to go downhill with the mk 8 Civic. Great engine and futuristic design but it was let down by poor bodywork and plastics... Leading to leaks, door handles falling off, trim coming loose etc. and over complicated infotainment and dashboards. The Jazz is a bit better screwed together and the mk 10 is a bit better but they still aren't quite what they once were.

Hello from Australia
Ps re the Aircon I have a vague recollection that there is a ' hot country ' setting that can be changed in VCDS or similar to boost the output...

Probably going to be saying goodbye unless there's a cheap Scala or similar nearby.....
Was going to say the same re my Suzuki... It's very smooth with a nice rasp when pushing on. That Peugeot 2008. Must've had something seriously amiss... Probably a knackered engine mount or a miss fire.

Have you tried lubricating the lock mechanism? It might just be jammed / stiff.

"Foot off the Accelerator" Message in VC
What's under the driver alert system menu? I'd expect that to be a more likely place for it.

Try one you'll be surprised. 110bhp 126lbft plus another 4bhp and 37lbft (114bhp 163lbft total) from the hybrid part all in 960kg with all modern safety features you can think of (lane keep, autonomous braking, radar active cruise etc). Its light years ahead of the tweaked Fabia 1.9 TDI and Octavia 2.0TDIs we had

Do t be dismissive of them... Get a decent one and they are excellent. My 998cc Boosterjet Suzuki Swift hybrid is a cracking little thing, lots of tech, a comfy interior, good handling and drive, has been totally reliable and does about 50mpg round town.

Water gathers in my boot lid??
My educated guess... From experience on a Kodiaq... The rear wiper seal between the arm and the glass (or similar - I'm not familiar with the Superb mk2 set up).
