  • Yeh well it is 100% FINISHED now pics coming later my friend

  • I think it gives the car a kind of wipe clean / latex rubber S&M look....a kind of dungeon b!tch of a car. I think a black bonnet bra with a large rubber ball at the front would work too. Will yo

  • Quick pic update now I've bought myself a new camera:

ANPR won't be an issue. It only pings cars that are illegal, no insurance etc, or cars that have been entered onto it via the Police.

Looks good by the way.

WOW that is a stunning job, The car looks like something out of MAD MAX, Considering this is your first time, I think its a first class job.

Sorry, nothing to do with Harry's car.....

.......but I'm an Arsenal fan :giggle:

Now back to Harry's awesome matt black Octavia thread

'Scuse my ignorance but what holds it on? Also how does it adapt and hold to the complex shapes so well?

It's a self adhesive vinyl. With heat it will conform to any shape within reason.

Woah, that looks awesome. Nice job

There's a minimum quantity you have to order, Andy..............no good for you mate

Looks very nice Harry.

That looks excellent! Looking forward to seeing the completely finished pics, I think you should leave the spoiler off too.

You reckon it would be £1800 if you were getting that done profesionally though! :o

Very nice B) top job

Wow for a DIY job that is superb. Loving the look too. Have thought for a while that matt black would start to take off as a colour choice.

respect to you mate, big balls to do that on your own, i did my front grill and that was enough for me.

i really like it as well , leaving the spoiler off would give it more of a street sleeper look

That looks the dongs danglies....I had my reservations with the mirrors and bonnet but they whole thing has came together amazingly....hat off to you sir!!!

I like it.

I would change the badges to black. The bonnet and boot Skoda Auto badges would look good if they could be black and "embossed" (like Han Solo in Carbonite)

Looking really good.

Theres a Range Rover Sport in Bournemouth here with Matt Black wrap with "Outlaw" on the back :giggle:

Looks really good and others have mentioned, do the alloys and tint the lights

Awesome tbh !

It's the Skoda Stealth Bomber !

top effort :)

and the results speak for themselves.

Never going to tint the lights. Going to tint the windows mind. I think the colour of the lights and badges breaks it up a bit else it'd be too much

Youre very clever!!

Well done Harry

Dont forget to get your Registration Document changed to a Black Car with DVLA

Cheers Chris. No need, as it's classed as a temporary colour change. I'll see you Sunday if you fancy a closer look .)

NIiiiicccceeee  Really liking that. Top work!

Don't tint the lights, get these. If you leave the lights chrome you may still be spotted on radar....... :giggle:

I could have sworn that you mentioned in another thread that you were going to do a guide to wrapping wing mirrors. You are going to have to write a longer DIY guide now!

That is an awesome job you have done. There is a matt black Lamborghini near where I live. I assumed that it was painted that way but I am going to have to take a closer look to see if that has been wrapped too.

P.S. A guide for wrapping mirrors would still be a good idea for the fainter-hearted. :)
