It was considered, but there is just too much info unfortunately.

Have you seen the standard Citigo clocks?

Other than a big speedo it's rather limited. The rev counter is rather tiny too.

Having had a City-go (greenline?) version for 5 days as a courtesy car I defo agree...........

Defo need more engine info when running a tuned turbo engine.............

.......most important is the "wallet emptying dial".................

.....fuel gauge...................

Love the fact that the picture you put was doing 175kph! haha

and just out of interest whats its going to be like to do general maintenance like changing the clutch for instance? bet that sort of work will be a pain! but still worth it!

:)

that would be more stealth, i understand you need more info like boost temps of oil and coolant and all that info as it is a beast, i would have done a little design work to find a way to hide some nessessary gauges in the cabin keeping the stock speedo...... imagine that tiny rev counter whipping round like a windscreen wiper on full LOL! :giggle:

Good choice of dash, loads of screens and info to scroll through, can be as simple or complex as you want it,very versatile. nice piece of kit.

How have I only just found this thread?!

Utterly awesome.

its gone quiet...... too quiet.... must be due some lovely porn style car photos soon

I'm surprised there hasn't been a vid of it being started yet. There's only a few weeks to go

Probably because it's in the Citigo section? :giggle:

Thanks BTW.

There is still five or six weeks to go! (hopefully!)

I spoke to Luke a short while ago, but he just complained I want to leave all the interior trim in.

For some reason, it's not the easiest thing to do fitting and welding a subtle Roll Cage within the car without disturbing the headlining... :D

Nothing wrong with cutting out the odd hole in the odd bit of trim. :D

Not an option bolting a roll cage in?

True. :giggle:

But I think we're going to have to up the power a bit if possible as we are probably 50kg-75kg over the target weight of 1000 and I'd really like to keep it at 400bhp per tonne.

ASTs? Very nice :)

the turbo will do more than 400 :-)

jabba never got back about the dash so i assume they got one already

It's rated 300-500 officially, but does depend a little on other factors, as you know Clive.

Don't want to quote exact figures really, but I'd be happy with 450 if the drivability is there. (for now :giggle: )

Engine is being built to take around 575 to save hassle in the future. They think I'll want to upgrade after a while...

Yes, I believe the dash had already been sorted, sorry about that.

There's a few Citigo's about now and every time I see one I laugh knowing that yours is going to have 400bhp in. It's just nuts

With you on that one Martyn

They must just think you are certifiable BossFox.

soon this little kitten is going to be purring

When it's road ready I want to potter down the A12 next to a regular Citigo, give them the thumbs up and then open the taps... I bet they'll get a shock.

They, and any other road user this side of a V8 Atom I would think!

Serious springs for the little thing, will it have enough weight to compress them?

I was looking at GAZ springs for the Golf track weapon, apparently they set them up for the weight of the car.

Looking forward to seeing the car at CC in April.

These have been specced for the weight of the car bearing in mind the size of the car and wishbone length, dampers and spring rates will have to be fettled when its running but there easy to pull apart.... its going to be a bit of an experiment for the first few times out, unfortunately there isnt an off the shelf option or a medium wheelbase, ultra narrow, 400+bhp 4wd car available :wonder:

The springs are actually half as much as what spring rates we run on our mk2 championship cars and there lighter than this....
