I've ordered my car from skoda rainworth who use the trackmyskoda website. Its gone from week 46 to 43 to 48 and now its week 4, 2014! Admittedly I added leather seats, but bloody hell that's an extra 8 weeks!  

The cows obviously not big enough yet, needs a couple of months growing to provide enough material for the back seat.

Ordered mine 23 July, ( Octy Elegance 1.6 Tdi DSG) & my dealer tells me it's enroute from Grimsby and I may be driving it by Friday !

I have my own no. plate on retention & so hoping dealer has organised that to be in place OK - he assures me all is well and so far he's been accurate with build dates, delivery forecasts etc, so I'm well pleased.

Sparshatts, Botley - Dealer has told me that when it turns up they will try and get it to me asap.

Looking at the ships logs, it's about 20 hours sailing Emden to Sheerness and about 24 hours to load/unload. So the ship could be back end of the week. But the transporter lorries only work Mon-Fri, so maybe next week.

I will be watching the ships on the website, with fingers crossed.

Ordered my vRS from Botley also - so far, so good - they've kept me updated and are sticking to their original build estimate.

i've been told that mine was completed last friday, does anybody have an idea as to how long it will take to arrive at the dealers?

SUK's official line is 3-4 weeks but it can be less.

Octy VRS TDI manual with a number of options in white. If its registered it will be on an 11 plate, so easily recognisable.

Got the registration number for mine today, and done the 7 day free insurance so my dealer can tax it, they're expecting it next week. That's only 2 months from ordering, not bad at all

I've just been told that Skoda have 'announced on the internal site' that there's a delay on the Gemini Silver wheels i've specced. :(

How that affects the build week remains to be seen!

From a purely selfish view, it would be better for me if you don't get your cars this week. That way if my car is on the return trip, it more likely to get a quick turn round at Sheerness for the transporter.

Hi JKW, I also have a personalised plate and I have been waiting more than 2 weeks now for DVLA (should be DVPA), pain in the **** to process it, apparently they have to go through two offices now so the dealer told me, meanwhile my car stands in the compound ready to go. I ordered my silver Estate Elegance 2.0TDI with Xenon, 18" Alaris, Sunset and Chrome bars on 9th July in Portugal. Dealer told me week 43 to build. Still waiting for confirmation but I wonder how orders to the same car with the same specs are buid/delivered 1 to 2 months earlier...

Even so, great to ear that someone is getting their hands on a fabulous car

Good news is I finally have a planned build date, rather than just a rough guess from the importer.
 

Build dates are only planned ca. 3 weeks ahead of time. 
I may have mentioned this above, so sorry for the repeat for frequent followers, but:
Mine was ordered 15/7 and hasn't been allocated a build date! so Week 2 delivery sounds about right!

 
The bad news:
Apparently the 3 week planning window isn't entirely correct!
Build week 45 planned for me (not sure of the status code)! Oh yeah, and tow bars are out of stock, so there may be an issue fitting that once the car actually arrives! 4,5 months delivery time for an Elegance hatch with few extra options,   assuming there are no more delays ... 
I want my new car  :'(

I was told that my yeti L&K arrived in England two days ago and would be with the dealer Wednesday..... but that I would have to wait to collect it next Friday!

Bum, the Constanza is now heading to Grimsby so my return trip hopes are dashed. Now watching the Weser Highway just arriving Emden, in hopes it goes to Sheerness.
