Just an update for those looking to order, I emailed car camera shop regarding delivery, they are expecting them at the end off the month and will be shipped out immediately thereafter, realistically I think we are looking at us getting them 1st week off March.

That fits in with the end of the New Chinese year, when the Chinese go back to work.

Lots of sellers on Flea Bay from China etc saying on after the 25th. February orders will be sent, and bear in mind it takes 9 - 10 days to reach the UK..

Received the following update from Ian at Car camera shop
 

Just to keep you informed, we've received stock of the Mini 0806 today, which we'll process over the weekend but we're awaiting stock of the hardwire kits. We should have them next week also so we'll be shipping orders then.

However, such is the popularity of the Mini 0806, we've already sold out of the hardwire kits before we've even received them. All forum orders placed so far will receive theirs, but any placed from now on will receive their camera but will have to wait for their hardwire kit. I hope that makes sense, and many apologies that this is the case, we've just had an unprecedented demand for this camera and it's accessories.

Out of interest, looking through the manual it specifies a different mount to use it is a parking camera? Anyone know about this as it was news to me!

I think it needs the GPS mount like the 0803 & 0805 did? If you went for that, I think you should be able to use it for parking.

The manual lists it as a distinct option, but then again it also says that the GPS mount is standard, so may not be 100% accurate

Got an email saying my order is on its way granted it is without the hardware kit as I don't need it, hopefully get delivery Tuesday/ Wednesday.
