Oooooh now I'm torn, stick with my 0805 or consider an 0806, gosh, it will depend on cost really?

Sadly dont know GB prices or even possible, but the 0806 is £99 + GPS (£5) + lens (£7.99) + hardwirekit (£10.99). So £123.98 if you went and bought from them now.

I am looking at dash camera's, and would be interested, but the reviews I've read on this via techmoan are the only one's I've seen so far and appear a bit negatively biased at the moment.

 

Has anybody reviewed this camera with a balanced bias at all?.

Rather than use the rather basic player which came with my 0803 I use datakam player, which has a Mac version.

Techmoans 2nd unit is from eBay, and the only eBay retailers are in China. Knowing too many people buying electronics from Chinese sellers only to have issues I personally wouldn't do it regardless of the savings. Too many fakes end up on eBay.

Totally agree with that, do you have any links to the prospective supplier at all?. would also be good to get a spec on this,as I am also looking at the camera Rob Clubley fitted recently too.

 

My main requirement is to have as stealthy a form factor as possible, but a reliable unit comes a very close second to that.

 

As Robs unit appears to have prematurely failed at the moment, reliability and small size appear ro be an issue, so as much info as you can get for us would be very gratefully received.
