Is this msg only in newest version or I must change/ set something in infotainment (or also edit using VAG?). I

Doesnt enabling it require aditional hardware? Or do you just code it and it works? How did you enable it if i may ask?

Is it possible to disable "cabin air recirculation auto off" via vcds?  If the outside temperature below 5 C   it shuts off randomly,  sometimes it shuts off in an area with bad smell and it is too late when i realize that it shut off.

Or can this 5 C threshold be changed? for example to 0 C??

do you happen to have an admap of module 09 with 30 colours working? I've broken mine somehow, and it could be very helpful for me to have a working one to compare with

I haven't got one handy but there is an adpmap with 10 colours here: https://forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/24363/

The only thing needed to expand it to 30 colours is to fill out the 11-30 colour options :)

In what way have you broken it?

Any fault codes?

Do you have your current and old adpmap's?

Hey all,

I have an Octavia 7.2017 (facelift) with 10 colors. Tried with the help of VCDS to see if I have list 2 - I only have 10 colors enabled also in VCDS.

Any idea how to get them to 30?

Thank you!

It's done by changing the BCM adaption channels.

You can either do it manually but it'll take a while as there are almost 200 channels that need changing or use VCDScripter along with scripts on the previous page:

@Hdsn555 & @AlVal

Coming to the 30-color VCDS script, how do you upload such a script in the system?
I’ve found the list-2 to set colors 11 to 30, but I don’t feel patient enough to modify 60 lines individually... and then modify the 30 lines of the 10 original colors to get something homogenous...

Thanks for your explanations.

Oh Thanks !!!

Unfortunately, if I get it right, it won’t work with my MicroCAN cable... Only possible with HEX versions...:speechless:

Erm, seems so. I can't say I'd ever noticed the limitation until you mentioned it... :)

If you’re going to have to do it manually, I’d filter the script down (in Excel or something) to a colour at a time, and put the same filter into VCDS, so you're only doing a bit at a time. At least you’ve only got to do it once :)

@langers2k No worry. Just good to know... My wife intends to replace her Audi Q3 Mk1. If she gets another VAG vehicle, I will upgrade my current cable to a HEX version... ;)

@Ivan8192 I like the idea. Will probably do that. ;)

Hi all, got a question on the TSR, I enabled it and initially it said no signs available but as soon as I got off my drive on to the road it showed 30mph instantly. I looked around and there were no signs. Does it just display what is stored in map data if it doesn't detect it on the road?

Any one figured out a way to get whiskers set to drl on a 2020 car? (iv) 🤔 the older method for my 16 etc does not work atleast.

Hello,

I have a 2016 Superb and I wonder what are the steps to Enable the Ambient light menu in VCDS.

I also want to mention that I have the Footwell lights menu and I want to enable the ambient light menu for a retrofit.

Can someone help with what values I need to change in Channel 09 or 5F ?

I’ve tried searching without luck, so would someone kindly post the coding to enable the whiskers to operate with the DLR’s please? We have a 2016 L&K with them fitted. Many thanks in advance.

What do you call 'whiskers'? Sorry, still not a native english speaker. ^^

Whiskers are the light lines which come as standard with SLA.

Adaptation

Leuchte16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9 (Front left eyelashes)

Light function C16

put on "Daytime running lights"

Dimming value CD 16

Put on "100"

Leuchte17TFL RLK SRB3TFL R BLK SR KC3 (Front right eyelashes)

Light function C17

Put on "Daytime running lights"

Dimming value CD 17

Put on "100"

This encoding will work only for the vehicles which already shine "Eyelashes" in light by the work have. If no lashes out at the park light light, the corresponding lamps are not installed.

That you can easily check if they are installed:

Is available in the channel

Light 16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9

Light function A16

"Inactive" in it, then the eyelashes are not installed.

Fantastic! Thank you Gizmo! 👍🏻

Do u have the correct type of headlights? i.e. the part number ends in "B".

3Vx94101xB

If so, then the coding below is wat I did on mine.

Thanks for the info mate. No idea what the part number is one our 280. I’ll see if I can find it in a VCDS log which I collected a few weeks ago.
