Grazie molto.

Ok If you need the guides I'll send them to you

Grazie :)

So it supports conclusion that Road Signs work in most western EU countries while in the East and rest of the world they don't.

Today I did a proper restart on MIB by holding the button 10secs.

And the slider come alive !!!!   I can dim the footwell lighhts as ambient lights while driving..!

The only thing now that I have to enable it's the graphics on the MIB that shows the intensity of the footwell light

What about the warranty? Could it be affected by using an aftermarket diagnose and coding tool?

Only if you used a cheap unreliable one that screwed the coding up requiring dealer help (at your cost)

Coding changes are only enabling things / different settings that are already built into / written into the software.

I just ordered an OBDEleven, and my father got concerned that it might affect the warranty.

I assume that OBDEleven uses data that VAG group allows them to use and to have access.

If you use the ‘1 click’ apps for coding then you will more than likely screw the coding up somewhere

Do the coding ‘manually’ and you should be OK... just make sure you save a full scan / admap and you understand what you are changing BEFORE you make any changes.

Some codings are explained as follows:

Select STG 09 (vehicle power) STG Access Permission -> Function 16 Enter access code 31347 STG adjustment -> function 10 Channel ...

or

Select STG 17 (instruments) STG adjustment -> function 10 Select channel display depiction

Where is the STG menu or button? I am missing something. My VCDS is 18.9

Using obdeleven I've managed to activate (amongst other minor bits) rear DRLs and High Beam Assist and have increased the battery threshold for stop/start so it is effectively disabled. Disabling KESSY is an easy tweak which may interest a lot of you, too.

Has anyone adjusted the air conditioning power to make the cabin cooler in the summer? Does this effectively lower the temperature a notch? The Karoq's aircon is not as cold as my previous Fabia was.

How do you start the engine with KESSY disabled?

Sorry, should have been clearer. It disables the sensors on the front door handles - forcing you to use the lock/unlock buttons on the key. Handy for those who feel nervous about car theft using repeater boxes.
