I don't know very well if I have the latest software version or not, and if updating it would bring up the new menus that I have already seen in some with new "folders"

Sorry, since I asked it a long time ago but I couldn't update and I'm still in this version.

Having completed an update a while back the globe on my sat nav displays in red. Not sure what colour it was before but red somehow suggests there's a problem? Does anyone know if this is the case?

For your firmware, you are current.

The map information you have not shown, it's on another menu in the system (might see a value like "1910" for example

The red globe, you should grab a look at your manual online https://manual.skoda-auto.com/210/en-gb/Models to see if you can find out what it means.

You should press and hold down the Menu button for 10 seconds to enter the Engineering menu for updating and showing the current Software Train

You have 0367, latest is 0369

Can someone direct me to files to update my Scala (2019) from 0155 to a later version which atleast supports Android Auto wireless.

Ive tried the dealer a couple of times but they are not willing or dont know how.

Hi, just seeing if my Skoda Kodiaq 2019 has the latest software. If not how and what do I need to update to the latest. Thank you for any help

That sreen looks interesting, missing SW Train version.

I have sent you 0480 version to load.

I did see that topic earlier.

Guess I'm stuck on this version, came from the dealer today they had the car all day and just said they hooked it to the computer and everything is up to date.

Sadly you know the dealers are lying to you, it should in stages be able to update to 0324 (eventually)

But in upgrading from such an old version, it will erase your Sat nav licence iirc.

Hold down your Menu button for 10 seconds.

I downloaded the file... I unzipped it, uploaded the file folder to a card, inserted it into the Skoda slot... and it tells me that the data is not valid... or something like that

Show image of Software Train, and also contents of you SD Card.

@ediXo You may wish to visit the thread again by @Lennart as he has written an update to his process in there.

If you was to find an independant garage that has access to the ODIS Service software online, they can assist you probably better than dealers, so that you could update to the new version.

 

Files can be supplied for you to do this, if they don't have them.  Just they will need to input your new Map activation code if I have information correct.

 

 

@Cherry182 I am glad you got the new 0480 loaded now, just for my own curiousity, does the page in Engineering mode now show the value "MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T" that was just "---" before on 0475?

You can update to 0308, then onto 0324 as it's a two stage process.

is there any better versions to run?
