Well it's one of these two based on a Google of what's fitted:

Mib3 (Superb Mk3.FL and similar)
  Content     Downloadable
2023.12.20   2023.12.20      162 MB

2024.05.17   2024.11.07   https://www.phonostar.de/download/vw/MQB3_OI_JND_Europe_v1.31.50.zip    1,13 GB

2025.01.14   2025.02.20   https://www.phonostar.de/download/vw/MQB3_OI_NonGP_JND_Europe_v1.31.56.zip   166 MB

Pass on what NonGP means... we need  @MartiniB  I'd try the bigger file, see whether that works then move onto the smaller one. You can read the radio release you currently have of your infotainment system,  so what you want is something with a higher release. No good going below that. That's the other steer. Generally these update files lock onto your unit so if it's not relevant, it won't work. So no damage.

Final answer as they say... look at your current version release off the screen and compare.

As an aside I did read this post

https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/522574-update-to-version-1969/

And a followup post links to the flashing usb adaptor sold by Amazon. It's those ones that flicker people like on the map update to know something is happening.

Is there a way to know which countries are included in this update?

You could work on the basis that the mib2high icons are the same. They can be extracted and looked at via SQLITE as I recall. The mibsolution people load those back into their own apps for mib2.

That's one way of checking whether your radio station logo is there. What MartiniB suggested in one conversation. Either way it isn't an update but a complete refresh. A replacement. I've looked at them when conversations come up about missing logos. Afraid mib3 is the pits for this, mib2 you could back fill the missing stations yourself.

I've also used the same file a bit back and it updated successfully. It's updated some of the icons that were previously missing but there are still some not in the database though. It can be found in the below post in the Octy mk4 section of the forum.

Reckon it will always be like that. A built in wind up of mib3 after they closed the door of importing your own. You could work on the basis that if it's in the phonostar app it should be in the logos. Have Android TV app loaded. If they don't provide that radio service as an Internet service then it's highly unlikely I reckon to be in the logo database. VAG ride on the back of their work for Internet radio provision using their logo management... well that's what I reckon.

Tried both files for my 2021 Mib3FL. Both seemed to say they were successful but Radio Database in Settings is stated as 1.31.50 which is the earlier file. So NonGP applies to me whatever it is. Same result as earlier here - some may have been updated, but not obvious as the ones I tend to use haven’t been.

Trying through the Skoda portal now seeing as that seems to be a different file and is taking an age to extract to my USB stick.

Hello everybody!

I have a Skoda kamiq and I’m trying to update the station logos! I followed the instructions but when I hit update software it says that no updates in all available ! What I’m missing? Can you please help me?! Thanks!!

Is the current radio release seriel number on the unit the same as or greater than the update file ?. It wouldn't do the update in that scenario.

How can I learn this? I tried most of the files but with no luck!

There is an infotainment system screen that tells you the release code of each component. We have had people in the past trying to update when they had releases above the file they were trying to install.

Thanks for the info but unfortunately this is not the case. The database version on me system is 1.30.22. Can you help me what file should I choose?

Simply data and meta folders in usb , turn on your sistem and wait for a update message.

Other than that it's formatting and unzipping, correct placement in the root... etc etc. Like the old mib2 highs on map update mess up the unzip, use 7 zip, not placed where it should be. Dah, de, dah. Use CleanMydrive if using a MAC....

to be honest I’m doing all the above! Unzip with 7zip, data and meta folders only in the root folder of the usb (fat32 formatted)! When I put it it gives a messages that there is no media files in it and when I choose software update says that there is no any update! I don’t know if I’m using the correct file for my system although I tried all of them! I updated the firmware of infotainment before some months to 1800 easily but I’m facing this issue with the radio station db.

It's also done on part number so they can leave off the part number by accident. That was an old Vag thing with POI updates. This only works with VW and Skoda anyhow. Not Seat / Cupra.

What was the car model, year etc to see whether anyone else has had success.

Btw those usb c to a converters sometime cause issues. Some are not fully wired for data.

Indeed I use a converter but I used the same for firmware update! My model is Škoda Kamiq 2021 with bolero infotainment version 1800. Is you need any other information I can provide. What do you think it is the correct file? I mean I think is https://www.phonostar.de/download/vw/MQB3_OI_NonGP_JND_Europe_v1.31.56.zip but I’m not 100% sure.

Thanks all of you for your time to answer me!

You don’t select update on the Infotainment though that relates to a system update.

As per the instructions you just turn on the ignition and wait till the infotainment is up and running and then insert the memory stick into one of the two USB-C sockets and you’ll get a message come up on the screen to say it’s updating the database.

Hello,

I have a 2022 Škoda Superb, and everywhere I look I see versions with MIB3+ or MIB3. I checked by holding down the MENU button for three seconds (get into the red menu), and my release version is: MOI3, more specifically MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P30400P.

I've tried various files but I can't get the station logos to install. The USB is formatted to FAT32, and the files are extracted and uploaded, but when I plug it in, nothing happens.

Has anyone managed to install radio station logos with this version? Or am I doing something wrong?

Hola,

¿O estoy haciendo algo mal?

This is your infotainment system version, but what is your radio database?

You can se in Menu-Settings-System information
