  2. firstly:- I agree with Evolution13 : many vehicles do not maintain coolant level at Max but will settle to a lower level after some use - so long as the level remains above Min it's not worth worrying about. secondly:- the pump shown in your photo has definitely been leaking, though not a great deal, and could account for gradual coolant loss. Have you replaced or fixed this? Are you still losing coolant ?
  3. Hello everyone, I have a June 2021 Skoda Octavia Mk4 (A8) equipped with the 8.25-inch MIB3 Swing/Bolero infotainment unit. My current software train version is: MEN3_EU_SK38X_P0393L (MU 1315). As you know, this early version is unstable. I managed to find the final target firmware MEN3_EU_SK38X_P3265L (MU 1805), but I know that updating directly from P0393L to P3265L is extremely dangerous and can brick the unit. To safely perform the step-by-step update path, I urgently need the intermediate firmware versions: - MEN3_EU_SK38X_P1560L (MU 1560) - MEN3_EU_SK38X_P2340L (MU 1790) Could anyone please share valid download links (Mega, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) for these files? Thank you very much in advance for your help!
  4. Hello, I have a 2021 June Octavia with MEN3_EU_SK38X_P0393L. I found the P3265L version, but I need the intermediate versions P1560L and P2340L to safely update. Can anyone share a download link?

  6. @travs any ideas? I know you can get products than fill in the surface after a polish, but not that much can be done, really.
  7. Never had any issues. I've ordered from them a few times over the last few years - most recent was £200 worth of badges in April or so. Zero complaints. Communication can be a bit iffy sometimes (you'll speak to Magdalena) but they're a good company.

  9. Is there still pressure present if you open the header tank cap say a hour or two or longer after engine shut off?.
  10. At this point I’d be taking it back and getting a refund. That’s ridiculous.
  11. The motor on the headlight moves up and down as I change the dash level setting to - or 3. Max to min. Yes the white 6mm hex/allen key fitting (is the only adjustment available for the dipped beam) The dipped beam was far too low and I just can not lift the beam up enough with the adjuster The headlamp is nicely seated back in the body and with even gaps around it to the body work and it looks to be the same as the other side so it is sat correctly Can’t see what I can do , I don’t want to force the adjuster as soon as I felt resistance I stopped But it’s far to low to start with Checked bulb seated correctly too bought it mail order from a skoda dealer I don’t see what I can do other than return it as defective
  12. Have you tried to release all the bleed nipples to relive any excess pressure? Thanks. AG Falco
  13. Believe it or not When I got the car The backs of the seats where fine The reason the hair is showing Is because he’s used the tool And it’s bringing up the hair and paint It’s chewed through 3 of his tools It’s that thick with paint and dog hair 🙃
  14. The last pic you can get pretty straightforward pet hair removal tools to get rid of. They’re basically very soft rubber that as you rub back and forth they collect the hair. It’s not easy as the stuff weaves itself into the carpet loops but it gets there eventually.
  15. You can program the car to have 'Scandinavian DRL' on. This will turn your front DRL, rear side and number plate lights on when the ignition is turned on. I did this to one of my cars using OBDEleven. HTH. Thanks. AG Falco
  16. Is this the white 6mm hex/allen key fitting? What about the in car headlight aim adjustment wheel? Projector type headlamp assembly. Thanks. AG Falco
  17. Changed mine to Bosch straight away, lovely! FP
  18. Issue has finally been resolved, Cylinder 3 injector had failed and was leaking fuel back to the pump. Now I probably need to replace the other 3 at a cost of nearly €300 an injector for the part alone.
  19. For safety’s sake, i would like to add rear DRLs - i think they should be standard, like on my previous car, a Volvo. There are suitable vertical surfaces on the rear bumper below the reflector to fit separate lamps, but i’m wondering about how best to do the wiring. Does anyone know if there’s an ignition controlled circuit in or near the boot to tap into? If there isn’t, where would be the best place? Thanks in advance
  20. Thank you for the quick reply. I thought this might be the case. 😞 Cheers Andy
  21. Such stickers stopped being fitted anywhere quite a few years ago now, unfortunately.
  22. Apparently common in the trade Even my detailer said that Just some people are worse than others
  23. How did you do it? Which repo did you use?
  24. Christ on bike! I've heard it all now! That's the height of cowboyism... I would be naming and shaming the sellers.
  25. Hi. I'm looking at Karoqs around 3 years old and interested in seeing the PR codes before I choose. I'm pretty certain that a car around that age wil not have a service book with the build sticker attached, is there still a sticker under the boot floor cover? If so, could someone give me an idea where to look. I had a quick look in a car a few weeks ago and couldn't see one but didn't have much chance to search (it was pouring down). I'm looking for a car without SFD2 which I understand was introduced in builds late March 24 onwards. Cheers Andy
  26. Thank you DerekU I will check it out. I’ve never had this on a new car before.
  27. I buy oil and filters then take my car to a nearby garage (5 minute stroll) to simply change the oil and reset the service light. Brake fluid, pads and discs when the time comes. Changing air and pollen filters takes 5 minutes. And online filters cost peanuts compared with a dealer. All products are the Real Deal. Saves a fortune.
  28. I’ll check the manuals see if there’s a list Edit. No list in the manual. It does go through each individual bulb and how to change it but it lists bulb type as part of that rather than one master list.
