  2. You do use that usb indeed. There is a pdf of how to do it.
  3. Test drove a Karoq & later bought a Karoq sportline from them, salesman David Johnson very helpful & no pressure to buy
  4. I have a Karoq 2021 71 plate & it has I Believe the Mib3 Columbus unit, it has no sd card slot,do I just use the usb inputs to install the file, I’m currently downloading the ECE 26.6 map update on the ŠKODA update portal
  5. When I change my struts from Amazon did not see any springs like that I managed to do it by pulling back the rear trim and disconnecting the wiring connector inside the back trim
  6. Hello Our 2014 Skoda fabia 1.6tdi has developed it's third injector issue and the problem is we're currently in Madrid (from Exeter). The coil warning came on about 150km ago with the familiar rattle and we turned it off and on again and we're able to continue gingerly. We're due to drive back to the UK from here over the next two days but now worry this will just reoccur more seriously in a few hundred km or less. So our only option is to either find a garage here or risk it and rely on the breakdown cover if anything happens. If anyone has a suggestion then we'd be all ears as it's been so stressful I can't think!

  8. Are your headlamps projector headlamps with an H7 halogen bulb in them or are they projectors with a Xenon gas discharge bulb (D2S bulb)? Do you have headlight washers fitted as standard at the factory? Edit never mind you said they're halogens. If they have the projector style fitting, they're crap. You might as well have a pair of old carriage lamps on your bumper. If you want decent lamps you need full Xenon (pricey with modding such as fitting headlight wasers, coding etc) or get normal headlamps with halogens. https://carmodshop.co.uk/for-skoda-fabia-mk2-h4-2007-4-2010-headlights-headlamps-1-pair-o-s-and-n-s/
  9. I suspect that's got something to do with the retaining screws that hold the rear light assemblies.......?
  10. Hi there, I've got myself a rather fantastic coolant leak. It literally drips out as soon as I fill the expansion tank. The leak is coming from somewhere under the air inlet manifold. It's dripping down onto/around the coupling for the thermostat and coolant delivery pipe (?) that runs along the engine block under the inlet manifold. Video in link: I'm getting a cheap endoscope to try see more as I just can't face pulling the manifold off. But is this gonna be a cracked cylinder head/gasket that's letting this by? Or possibly something not so terminal.... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a-lOkWXpWLTDKABCr6u-ABQBBOrWOhvG/view?usp=drivesdk
  11. Dear Experts I have found the PR code for (fabia mk2) Head lamp is 8BQ , "Halogen main headlamps for left-hand traffic" Since my car is RHD so it means my car does NOT have Halogen headlamps. Thanks regards, Kind regards
  12. Hi Gizmo Where on the App is the ‘Optimised battery use’ option? I can only find the Battery Care Mode on the MySkoda App Car > Battery Range > Settings > Battery Care Mode > Not activated or Activated.
  13. HI guys please i need this firmware can someone send it to me MOI3_EU_SK_R9690L
  14. No that’s different. The ‘Optimised battery use’ is supposed to keep the 12v topped up from the traction battery so in theory the 12v should never flatten itself. But as it’s VAG software it doesn’t always work.

  17. Hi Gizmo If this is the Battery Care Mode, I do have this enabled on the App. I thought this mode was related to the limiting the maximum charging of the main battery to 80% and not to do with the 12v battery.
  18. Instead of the usual autoupdate screen you should get a full screen System Update notification. Mine still took a day to do it.
  19. It's a 2020 Kamiq SEL with Boleo. This is what they supposedly installed in Jan 2026 of this year: SW Train: MEN3_EU_SK370_P0314L Hardware: 040 Software: 1233 Can any of you tell me what the most current version was at that time?
  20. And what happened this afternoon is that it just rained, gently but persistently. No progress on the bumper refit. 🌧️
  21. Do you have the “Optimised battery use” enabled in the app? As this should prevent the 12v going flat. ‘By using the high-voltage battery, more energy is available in the vehicle for operating via the app (affects range).”
  22. I have Android Auto set to Autoconnect and start which it used to do wired but wirelessly it would always bring up the "Connect to Android Auto" screen. I'd accept and connect then sometimes it would drop and bring the connect screen again. Also once connected in wireless Android auto I'd get the odd Audio drop out. On 0334 as soon as I switch on Android Auto auto connects wirelessly and no Audio dropouts.
  23. What has happened at Amazon with their big electrification plan for the last-mile delivery vans? There was a time when I was actually seeing this taking place, but now it seems that they are using diesel-powered vans in that role. I keep on getting more deliveries by Amazon and all in diesel vans, and I also have seen many other diesel-powered Amazon vans around Essex.
  24. Currently working on my 2011 1.6 fabia mk2 and my auxiliary pump caught on fire and burnet the wire. Have a new one but one of the connectors is broken. The kne that r3aches to thw back of the engine. Was wondering if I can just swap parts of the wire loom round or is it better to change it fully?
  25. Actually you are partly right, it is designed for more inshore waters, but range is a real big problem for it was well. Also oddly enough, it was built in Tasmania so has had a massive piggyback ride on the diesel-powered ship. And if that was not enough, it was originally hoped to be suitable to the route shown in yellow (130miles) on the map below but it has a very good chance of being left drifting out of control if the seas are a bit rough, so instead it is going to be used for the red route (32miles) instead.
  26. Could be the aircon drain hose is blocked or failed. If you put air con on max for 20 mins there should be drips under car from drain hose. If its dry then its either blocked or become unattached. The underlay of the carpet acts like a big sponge so you need a lot of water to get carpets soaking. Alasdair
  27. Yesterday, I downloaded the V6.0.1 free over-the-air update for my brand-new Enyaq SportLine 85X. The download took just over an hour. During this time, you must be out of the vehicle with it locked, and Kessy locking is disabled. When I returned, everything initially seemed normal: the usual functions worked, and I could select Drive and Reverse. I drove to a local shop without any problems and used ACC. However, when I came back, the driver’s dash display was not working properly, although the infotainment system started normally. I could no longer select B/D or Reverse. I tried several hard resets of the infotainment system, but nothing changed. I then locked the vehicle, waited 15 minutes, and tried again to engage drive, but the problems remained. The driver’s dash repeatedly cycled through every possible fault warning, so I called Skoda Assist. The technician found that the 12V battery was completely flat. I do not know what caused this, as I had driven 80–90 miles the previous day without any issues. The lights were not left on and the vehicle was locked overnight. The only other use of the 12V battery had been the download the following morning, which took more than an hour. Skoda Assist in the West Midlands had helped two other new Enyaqs in recent days after the same V6.0.1 upgrade. Both eventually had to be recovered to Skoda dealerships. My technician reviewed WhatsApp messages about the fault from the other two technicians. He fast-charged the 12V battery and carried out a Terminal 30 reset, but two faults remained: SOS Call and the Traffic Sign Recognition functions. The driver’s dash and infotainment system were also blank, and the ACC and parking camera system were not working. On the plus side, both Drive and Reverse could be engaged. The technician suggested that we drive the short distance to my home, where he would try another Terminal 30 reset and connect his laptop to the car’s system to work on the data bus. To his credit, he kept trying and eventually appeared to resolve everything, including clearing the two errors shown on the infotainment system under ‘car’. I had similar problems after a major software update on my previous 2021 Enyaq, which was carried out by the dealership and included replacing the 12V battery. After the upgrade, the infotainment system kept failing, the headlights would not work, false Multi-Collision Braking warnings occurred (the brakes came on with traffic safely approaching on the other side of the road, and several sensors became unreliable. This required yet another visit to my local Skoda dealership. I am now concerned that new 2026 Enyaqs may have similar issues with their 12V battery. Given that three cases have occurred in the West Midlands alone and the software upgrade has only been available for a few days, I strongly suggest waiting until others report a trouble-free upgrade before installing it. Has anyone else experienced issues with either of the following? · The V6.0.1 upgrade · The 12V battery on 2026 Enyaq not charging properly, or running down so far that the vehicle will not start and no systems work I sincerely thank the Skoda Assist technician from Birmingham, who went the extra mile to fully sort out my Enyaq. I only wish I could remember his name.
