  1. Did you find the cause?
  2. If you do need to top up, make sure the engine is cold. If the engine is hot and you unscrew the cap hot water will escape under high pressure. With the engine running at normal temperature, look around for any obvious signs of leaks. Does the heater work correctly?
  3. Neither does mine and looking at images of engine bays very few have it.
  4. Yes, if you hold down the unlock button, they'll go down for as long as the button is held down. Use the lock button to make them go up.
  5. I'd have kept the support "just in case".
  6. I used to run my in ECO in town to get in a higher gear quickly and switch to normal on the open road as I felt more in control with engine braking etc. Now, it's in normal all the time with much the same economy and the gear shifts are the same.
  7. Can you disable the speed warnings?
  8. When you say revving, how many rpm? It should regen at a high idle speed of 1000 rpm.
  9. I'm assuming it's a diesel.
  10. I'm still on the original battery, also Varta. I've dropped from 20k a year to about 1500 miles a year. If I do not need to use the car, I'll start it up after 4-6 weeks. Usually starts on the button, but sometimes cranks for up to 5 seconds. i don't have power in my garage, so charging is out of the question.
  11. Is it continually cranking at normal speed during those 10-15 seconds or slowing down? Any battery warning messages? In normal operation the battery will only be charged to no more than 80%.

  13. Agree 100%. Long gone are the days of driving with the windows open with the accompanying wind noise and buffeting.
  14. It's possible you're going to get a few comments about the a/c using a lot of fuel. A lot of factors are involved. I run it all the time in auto mode with the temp set around 20-22c, with the profile set on eco mode. Does the job for me. It's never been serviced or re-gassed. Long term MPG 60+
  15. I guess even a heated screen draws little power for the same reason.
  16. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. There's no guarantee the new components wouldn't fail prematurely. If you start replacing components "just in case", where does it end?
  17. Is it a diesel? Could be doing a regen.
  18. Ok. mine has the same surround and a cover. some sort of flimsy material. Would it be just the diesels that have it?
