  1. Just looked and no such sticker šŸ˜ž
  2. It’s a diesel so tdi , ah didn’t know about the sticker I’ll have a look tomorrow šŸ‘
  3. Hello, Hopefully just a daft question, is 5w-30 (vw 504/507 & 505/505.01) the correct oil for 2016 190ps diesel? https://msdspds.castrol.com/bpglis/FusionPDS.nsf/Files/C2F9054530066FF980258AE7004603DE/$File/wepp-c9c9jv.pdf I usually just buy Castrol Edge and not actually done my own oil change on my Superb myself yet. I’m sure I read the spec got changed to 0w-30 on here but could’ve been for a petrol Cheers
  4. I feel like there’s need of a how-to 😁
  5. Maybe this? Looks like you just pull it. MK7 golf but close enough and bound to similar
  6. I would expect an array of error messages ACC and emergency breaking as a minimum. Bits can be replaced and recalibrated but not straight forward from what I’ve seen
  7. Gave my car a gentle wash, went to Cornwall recently then the storm hit, despite being tucked out of the way and about a mile away from the beach my car got covered in sand Whole car was like that apart from A pillar which must have flown off on the way home but no where else
  8. Knackered battery by the looks of it
  9. Don’t download anything that’s the funky adverts try this https://cardiagn.com/2015-2018-skoda-superb-iii-3v-worshop-manual-owners-manual-wiring/ Scroll down a bit and click on ā€œbody repairs - general informationā€ then scroll down a bit and you’ll see the inline pdf
  10. https://cardiagn.com/skoda-superb-iii-general-body-repairs-exterior/ page 228 on the inline pdf, don’t need to download anything so be weary of funky looking adverts
  11. Front bumper off unfortunately I take it your replacing whole headlight and not just changing bulb?
  12. To be honest I’d be surprised if anyone of that was considered possible for warranty claim due to ā€œwear and tearā€ exclusion. At the very least sort out brake hose first
  13. Varta A7 if AGM, as well as changing the BEM code you’ll need to change from 68ah to 70ah or whatever the new one is Regarding the stalling is it auto? I had this a few times few years back and never happened since after changing original rear discs and pads, coincidence hmm
  14. If DPF is blocked they’ll be errors and lights galore, does your fan run when you stop and turn ignition off? If so that’s doing a regen which does smell funky but only outside (or should be) Might be worth giving it the italian tune up for 15 minutes anyway, if you don’t have country lanes then go on the motorway and keep it in 3rd or 4th so the RPM’s over 2-3k. Have you tried recirculating mode on for air vents? Pull your pollen filter out too, but do it correctly by placing cardboard under pollen filter first! Then bring out pollen filter on its own!
  15. I have ACC, rain sensor but no camera
  16. Ah you might have what I believe is called a5 camera for traffic sign recognition. If so not sure but I bet @ApertureS will know for sure
  17. Over here we have AutoGlass and I insisted they replace windscreen with an OEM one after a failed chip repair, if you can do the same I’d recommend it and only cost me Ā£10 in total Everything worked perfectly afterwards, ACC radar is on the bonnet by the way
  18. Hmm, next things I’d try then would be start the car and lift bonnet on and have a smell around but make sure it’s not a windy day just on exhaust your exhaust fumes don’t get blown forward. Secondly have the air controls set to recirculating only then turn it off and keep it off then go for drives. If you smell fumes in your engine bay then it’ll be a case of trying to find it, maybe find a garage which can put a probe around to see if that can detect fumes (I’m sure such a device exists) I think it’ll just be a case of hunting, unlikely to be DPF issues at such low mileage tbh, if it was 360k miles then yeah
  19. No idea on the values but if it’s blocked then it would pop up as an error id like to think. Ignoring that side of things have you changed pollen filter recently and is your air quality sensor working? I believe when air quality sensor is working correctly it puts the car into recir mode automatically. Is it 100% coming from your own car? If you were out driving when no one’s about and you can smell it then it’ll be your car. Also not to sound rude but can others smell it in your car or just you? Could have been behind a stinky vehicle now you are smelling for it, if that makes sense
  20. Did you buy the orange ramps? I got a pair ages ago but couldn’t drive my SEL on it as the front bumper would scrape, despite having a wheel arch gap big enough to fit a family of 4. I had to put some wood In front, I’d rather not but wondering if you got the same ramps
  21. Not sure about relays Does your car have xenons? If so keep activating the washer and see if the headlight washers work. If not it’ll probably be best to take wheel arch liner off anyway and get testing with a multi meter when you try to wash your windscreen
  22. Does the rear wash work? If it does then it’s 100% the pump on the washer bottle itself and 2 way valve broken Then all you need to do is remove wheel and wheel arch liner and replace
  23. Never heard of ohme, so I googled ohme Skoda and saw this Not exactly your issue I don’t think but scrolling through quickly I saw some others with ohme and octopus might help might not 😁
  24. I was randomly looking at glowplug videos yesterday on YouTube looks straight forward ā€œSkoda superb glow plugs replacementā€ ā€œvw Passat glow plug replacementā€ should find loads then Someone did use wd40 to release. How many miles and has yours done? Seems glow plugs failing quite common now looking here, it is colder now though so being used harder I suppose
  25. Wing mirrors wrong colour on the screen, absolute slacker 😭 Where are the cameras for the aerial view? I thought it was rear only on superbs
