Infotainment tyre pressure screen
No, it is not normal for it to show the tyre monitoring screen on the infotainment unit, everytime u start up. that screen is behind the Vehicle Status screen, which is the first thing u'll see, if there is an issue.

034 aluminium dogmount insert
Noticeable improvement - yes. Increased vibrations - no. Wheel hoping eliminated - mostly. Gear shifts crisper - yes. Harshness - no.

Park assist use
Pretty sure the Superb's PLA 3.0 doesn't have any "memory" function or element to it.

If u've got the 220, then u need version 2. I've had it on mine for a year now. Really great, and highly recommended.

Converting the Superb 3 Pre FL to the Superb 3 FL Matrix Light any experience?
@sergiulupsac- in addition to the headlights, did u also buy a facelift bumper? With facelift fog lights and cornering lights? Wat year is ur pre-facelift? Wat headlights did it come with originally? I'm not surprised nothing works. It's not plug n play. There has been significant changes to the headlights and taillights with facelift. There will b a need to modify existing wiring looms and or modules.

Cigarette port always on, can I change it?
100% this - make sure u remove the A-pillar trim and tuck the cable with the existing wiring loom behind the airbag, like my pic below. The easy way is to tuck behind the A-pillar trim, but then the curtain airbag will fail to deploy properly. Do it properly, even though it's more of an effort, and pain.

Cigarette port always on, can I change it?
if u want the dashcam powered only while the car is on, then u should power it from the fuse panel by piggy backing of a switched fuse location. i used the rear wiper #47 (rear window wiper) to power my dashcam. this location is not permanently on. with regards to using a usb dual port - i highly doubt android auto will not continue to work through an add-on usb port.

Is it possible not to have rear heated seats?

Change the car image in Driver Assistance menu on Maxidot
That's different. On the pre-facelift, the little lane assist icon turns green when the lane guidance is active. The cluster shows a solid orange line - as per the image below. When the camera pics up only one side of the lane markings, the cluster shows a white colour on the side it can't detect, while the other one remains orange, and the icon remains green. When none of the lane markings can b determined - the cluster shows solid white for sides and the icon turns amber. Useful for when the cluster is not set to the Vehicle Assist screen.

ACC calibration procedure with VCDS
+1 That white sticker shouldn't b there!!! There should b nothing obstructing it in any way!! It's even been written over the radar with a white marker!!!! Sheesh 😯 This is how mine looks....

Can you code off headlight washers?
Wow....how many times do u spray ur windscreen!?!?! The headlights only get sprayed the 1st and 5th sprays, and only if the low beams r on.

VCDS options on Superb III
u can not "self-calibrate" ACC. its a complex, time consuming process, that requires specialist equipment.

Superb MK3 Headlight Distance
Given that turning the adjusters is making no difference, it sounds like ur car has a fault somewhere - either with a levelling sensor, or the AFS module. Has it been scanned for errors?

@Rantzzz- that has come out very nicely on urs 👍 u have a darker color compared to mine, so it has a nice contrast, whereas mine is subtle against the grey. 🙂 no no, don't use any additional glue, at least I didn't have to. wat I did prior to fitting it was, after measuring & cutting each piece, I then laid it out flat, overnight, on a table's edge, with masking tape to hold it down. this helped with removing the bends/tension in the chrome edge.span widget

Trip to france
Given u have Bi-xenons and a Columbus Navigation unit - u don't need to do anything - the car will automatically switch the headlight beam pattern, based on ur GPS location, once u've reached France.
-
Blind Spot
When u start the car, they should briefly light up, as part of the ignition sequence. .... assuming they r installed. If they r there, then u can switch them on via the steering wheel or infotainment, under Driver Assistance settings.

Superb Mk3 2.0 TSI 220hp tuning
Basically. Official time is 7.0 secs for the 220. I wasn't expecting the 0-100 time to improve given the crazy wheel spin even before getting the tune. It's the power increase, once moving, that I was after - which is evident in the massive improvement in 4th gear test times.

Superb Mk3 2.0 TSI 220hp tuning
I've got an APR Stg 1 ECU tune on my 220. I've only timed it once, using Torque Pro - it did 6.7 secs to the 100. Too much wheel spin being a FWD. The 4th gear 80-120 km/h test improved from 5.8 secs to 3.4 secs. This was timed by APR technician dude, his professional time recording gizmo thingy.
