Yes, they are really getting stuck in.

Wiring has been a total PITA too, they've had to change all kinds of things over from the TT including the door latches!

Then alter the Yeti mirrors to work with the TT loom as it's all different.

When I saw the first picture I was worried about the opaque nature of the new windows but once I saw the last I realised that they still had their protective film on!

Awesome door protectors too

Nah, that is track mode mates! That tint on the side windows keeps the distractions to the minimum when you are on the circuit and door protectors essential just in case you brush that Armco!

Visited the Yeti today to go over a few bits and it's starting get quite exciting.

Looks like a car in the cabin now too...

 

Clocks set in and steering wheel.

 

Where the clocks from the TT-RS have a similar chrome ring on the left and right they look fairly similar.

But the angles of the rings are completely different.  The Yeti's are flat where the TT ones are angled.

So they do protrude a little from under the binnicle cover, but it's not that noticible from inside/outside unless you are looking for it.

(which you probably now all are...)

 

One seat mounted, gearstick and handbrake.

 

They have also made me up some new stronger seat rails which lift the seat an inch as I requested.

They were a bit low before.

 

Rear windows going in.

 

Engine built up ready to go in later this week.

Richard, if you want the emblem in the steering wheel altered with an original audi black (no TTRS logo) one. I can send you mine.

Have the same wheel in my audi and changed the logoless insert with a S-Line one.

 

Just sent me an address per pm and I will send it to you. (you can still easily change it, as long as the airbag is out).
