  • I'm aware the mod for 30 colour pallet in the ambient lighting screen has been mentioned several times on the forum. TLDR: The RGB values used on available in the table at the bottom on my post.

  • Not sure how that would work, by your reconning they would have less need for rear DRL's as they have less daylight hours.   Brake lights are 4 times brighter than a sidelight / rear DRL, th

U can activate it using the instructions below, provided u have the correct A5 camera.....

Perhaps he means the DLA system when he says automatic high beam.
This is only possible with the right headlights. The high-beam assistant has nothing to do with the metal clip in the headlight.

I don't believe so.

He said he's got metal clips in the headlights - it means he's got version A headlights, hence he has non-SLA headlights.

He can activate the auto high beams, aka High Beam Assist (HBA).

If it had the round green clip holder, instead of the metal springs, then it would b the version B headlights, hence it could do the fancy auto high beams, aka Smart Light Assist (SLA).

You are dead right,A version headlights.

When I said auto high beam I mean the basic version.

Later today I'll try to activate with vcds

Do you have tsr? If you do it will work. I activated it easily using obd11.

It works.Thank you.

It's very handy I really like it.

Does anyone have the ID names for all the light modules for the crystal led headlights? Examples like Leucthe20BR LA71

Not sure what you mean?

Leuchte channels are BCM controlled outputs that can vary their output quite a lot and allow active monitoring.

do you mean you want to know all leuchte modules related to the headlights?

Yes.

Yes.

Your best bet is going through them as they differ per certain cars and years.

If you look under Lichtfunktion A to F for each channel it will have the ‘triggers’ this could be headlight switch on, sidelights on, day running, locking/unlocking or about 100 other things.

that will tell you if that specific leuchte channel is related to a light function and exactly what it does.

Oh okay. I was under the impression that the IDs were specific light modules lol. I am basically trying to find what I can do to trigger the needle lights to turn on with the DRL, I already tried the methods from the pre-fl superb 3 which do not work, it just gives me foglight errors

That is not controlled by any of the leuchte channels.

it is done using canbus at the module.

The only way this can be done is something called Scandinavia mode and it turns all interior lights on when the headlights are in any position but 0.

it also turns your taillights on with drl if they aren’t already.

Ah okay. Doesn't that turn on the dipped beam? I just want the needles on with the drl lol if that's even possible on the matrix headlights

Scandinavian mode will not activate the headlight DRL eyelashes / whiskers.

The facelift Superb has a completely different headlight setup and electronics compared to the pre-facelift Superb - hence there is no point following VCDS or OBDEleven steps/apps for a pre-facelift.

U'll just end up stuffing things up.

Unfortunately I have no idea about how this can b activated on the facelift Superbs.

I have it activated on my pre-facelift and I Iove the look of the eyelashes/whiskers.

Encoding eyelashes as with a vFL is no longer possible with the FL because the channel is missing.

Eyelashes only work with vFL with DLA.

Oh man that's a bit disappointing

I'd like to get back to issue of closing trunk boot from inside button or keyfob button on SIII 2019 manual hatchback no KESSY. Have a trunk module 5Q0959107P with SW version 0266, is it possible at last and if so how to do this?

Thanks a lot in advance.
