    When they're sub £13k, I'll be interested enough to read it.  Never spent more than £13k on a brand new car yet.   Sub 30k is just not relevant to average people in a country where the mean

Seems to be a choice, whether you want Honda E for the technology and retro looks. Or new Zoe for longer range and French-ness.

Carry is going to be a tonne and a quarter and with a 61 kW/ 82 hp motor so is going to be fairly dire if one ventures out on the fast A roads and Motorway.

It is going to be like the Smart cars that can be a bit of a menace on these roads when they do got out on these roads, go for an overtake and get stuck in the outer lanes doing their indicated 70/75 "up" a bit of an incline with a queue of traffic building "up" behind it,  Even worse if you have 1,2, 3 passengers onboard as well.  208, Corsa, Zoe looking the better choice at the mo.

Lots of reasons for not buying one then ,any for buying one ? As now with ICE great and not so little town / city /country car, me thinks.

It has almost twice the torque of the current petrol model and "only" a third more weight 🤣 I'm hoping it will handle hills better than the petrol model, due to the increased torque.

@lol-lol

What EV's have you tried so far, and have you driven the current e-Up! ?

Lots of people do not drive on motorways, or from city to city.

The worst car i find which are even worse than Range Rover / Volvo X90 / X5 / Q7 for tailgating are Renault Zoe with a female driving,  i see many all around Scotland as very popular,

you can be breaking the speed limit in an outer lane at a safe distance behind the vehicle in front and all the others in that lane IME and up your jacksy they come, DRL's on even in poor light / visability.

They do not seem to appreciate when you help clean their windscreen...

I would never brake test one because that is silly and dangerous, especially with the crap tyres fitted to so many EV's imported to the UK.

Have you? What did you think? Never thought of trying the current model to get an indication of performance and handling. (Doh!) Are the new one (and Citgo / Mii) similar weights to the current e-UP!??

Acceleration not half bad, much better than published figure.

Note in the engine bay is a lead-acid 12v battery, WTF, why not have another Lithium-ion, cost I suppose.  I run Lithium-ion replacement in my motorcycle, would like to do the same in my Octy, many kilos lighter.
