Seems that Lewis idea that the other 19 white drivers should take a knee before the start of the race didn't go down too well. He moans that this shows they lack an understanding of racism. Perhaps if they had a nice red carpet to kneel on they might be keener to do the deed. Just noticed the drivers have agreed to wear T shirts with the slogan "END RACISM" to keep Lewis happy.

A pretty good summary after yesterday’s qualifying by Andrew Benson.

Red Bull at it again trying to engineer a win for Max as Lewis is called to see the stewards again to explain a possible ignoring of a yellow flag in qualifying. If he gets a penalty he will start 10th and Max the only driver in the top 10 on medium tyres will be favourite for the win.

Onboard camera footage shows Lewis ignoring a yellow flag so given a 3 place grid penalty and now starting 5th. Thanks Red Bull.

BBC reporting that Hamilton could get a 3 place grid penalty, moving him to fifth. Red Bull's home track so maybe money talks. 

Also Vettel given naughty step letter as per Red Bull Boss and Team Boss Horner for not wearing a face mask and not being far enough apart while chatting. Failure to comply with the rules mean you could be excluded from the next race.

Yup. It's going to be a season of protests 😟

Out on lap 14. Must be the racing God of Karma, don't try and fix the result before the race. Normal service resumed Mercs 1st and 2nd.

23 laps down and the Ferrari's 25 and 36 seconds adrift of Bottas.

First Renault gone on lap 19. Ferrari can't even overtake a one year old Mercedes engined Racing Point. Oh dear back to the drawing board.

Could be a few DNF today as Stroll in the Racing Point is told to retire the car on lap 22.

First HAAS gone on lap 25 and safety car to bunch everyone up. Nice present for the Ferrari drivers.

Surprised Vettel didn't use the machine gun to get rid of Sainz. Down to P15 after his spin the German might receive his P45 soon hopefully.

Down to 14 cars left with Williams and the 2nd HAAS biting the dust. Safety car and Albon on soft tyres with possible gearbox issues for the Mercs could make for an interesting final 15 laps. Hold on folks anything could happen.

No my heads too big as it is. Going for the record number of notifications during an F1 race and this has plenty to report on.

Collision between Lewis and Albon and the Red Bull driver is out of the race in the kitty litter. Sorry Christian but Karma is a bitch sometimes.

Lando could finish third if he can get the gap to under 5 seconds after Lewis takes the 5 second penalty at the end. Hamilton could finish 4th.

Would have taken a few brave pills to predict a Ferrari finishing 2nd and a McLaren 3rd with the extra point for Fastest Lap for Lando.
