VCDS options on Superb III.FL

Featured Replies

You can tell from the part number that you have "N" and user MartiniB has "Q". Then it may be that “N” cannot or does not support this encoding.

  • Why would you want them off? Auto lights are notorious for people driving around in poor visibility and no rear side lights.   Personally I always code them to be on.

Pracuji jako správce systému, ale ve VCDS jsem úplný nováček. Kde prosím najdu sw info?

I am in same situation 😁 There are a few points to code on my S3 2019, but I have any IDEA how. Is here somebody with how can we start? Exist any manual for VCDS with code?

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi, can anybody help me? How can I run DPF regeneration via VCDS?

DPF started regeneration today but I must go out so I turn off ignition while regeneration.. Think it will be fine to force it now.

No need, the regen will automatically resume on your next journey.

Hello,

just found my rear lights are ON while day running lights. What can I do if I want to have rear lights off?

Thank you

I think, lights are off by default. Had S3 2017 and rear lights were off when was a day.

Correct, which is crazy IMO, it sounds like they have been coded to be on.

Creo que las luces están apagadas de forma predeterminada. Tenía S3 2017 y las luces traseras estaban apagadas cuando era de día.

Any tried tested working coding for Lane Assist on 21 plate FL? I'm yet to try it but it seems it works for some and not for others.

Hello,

any chance to disable chime while driver's door are open if ignition on?

Thank you

Yes that works.
STG17 -> Adaptation -> Ignition active message -> change to no display (OEM driver's door)

Hi guys,

has anyone tried coding the automatic matrix high beams to work at low speed in city conditions?

23.02.21          OK

** Scandinavian Daytime Running Lights

09 Central Electrics

            Access Code 31347

            Adaptations

            -> Leuchte23SL HLC10:

            --> Lichtfunktion C 23:

                        nicht aktiv       ->         Tagfahrlicht

            --> Dimmwert CD 23:

                        0          ->         100

            --> Lichtfunktion C 24:

                        nicht aktiv       ->         Tagfahrlicht

            --> Dimmwert CD 24:

                        0          ->         100

On this turning on rear DRLs - I found the stored value is in English…BUT…there is Daytime Running Lights, and Daytime Running Lamps.

On my MY21 it is “Daytime Running Lamps”.

It is nuts how half of it is in English and half in German. For example - “Not Active”, then “Activ 100%”. Tricky

And, sorry to overlook but thanks @MartiniB for putting this together. Really useful and some brilliant stuff. Love tinkering with stuff like this.

In my mk3.fl (2023) it works in the following way

When the ignition is on without engine running, I can open the door and there’s no warning (very useful for coding).

When the engine runs, the warning is presented when the door is opened.

bradecline, what warning you get? Mine besides the chime, also gives a signal in the display like "Warning: engine running!" or something similar. Very bothering ...

I finally got my VCDS and wanted to play, but as on clue I got a ton of work and then zero time to play ...

I've tried very quickly some of the adaptations but I think I got some security lockout on the comfort module, will get back to that when I have time.

I did got the 'refuel quantity' thing done, and now I see it shows in the vehicle settings with a 'tick'.

Now, this must sound stupid, but how do I see it? 🤪

I mean, I've refueled twice already and nothing shows when I start up the car again ... not that I am dying, but I am curious ...

  • Author

@leolito

after refuel it will show - -

after ~10 liters burned it will start by 5, then 10, 15, . . .

where value has been displayed depends on virtual cockpit mode,

it will be one in between of Driving Info list, Speed; Traffic Sign; Consumption; etc.

aaah ... will look then, I did not flip through the screens.

Another thing I forgot ... must be 17,362 posts mentioning changing the pedal feedback/response, but I did not find where to do it ... 😊

Is it in Engine control module?

  • Author

@leolito

on my previous Mk3 i have done this mod

The throttle response

44 - Steering Assist

            Security access: 19249

            Adaptations:

                        channel: 'Driving profile switchover' change

                                    from 'Incremental: controlled over time'

                                    to 'Direct: controlled over threshold value'

but i skipped it on my current Mk3.FL, me similarly as several colleagues noticed, it works more like a placebo,

touchable difference can be get just by moving back DSG lever, fasted way to switch D <-> S

Otherwise, a pedal box seems to work much better.
